Hulafrog connects parents to local events and businesses in their community as well as to each other. It also provides tips and suggestions for child-friendly activities generated by the publishers and its readers.
Every year ORNS hosts an auction to raise money for classroom furniture, gym equipment, scholarships, and enrichment programs. This event is our largest fundraiser of the year. The auction is a wonderful opportunity to meet and socialize with other ORNS parents and staff, and have a great night out with your significant other.
Our commitment to quality education is evident in the smiling faces of our children and our high teacher retention rate. Altogether, the staff has been teaching for over 206 years! Furthermore, our director has a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, and all of our teachers and staff have bachelor's degrees.
We furnish all classrooms with child-sized tables, chairs, shelves, restrooms, sinks, stair railings, coat hooks, and gym equipment to encourage self-sufficiency. Our indoor gym allows for large motor exploration during free time as well as adult-led music and movement classes. The gym also provides a space for all-school events, which contributes to the sense of community at ORNS.
ORNS provides a safe and caring learning community where children have the opportunity to be the best they can be. Teachers meet children's intellectual needs by planning activities and setting up learning environments based on the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. Children draw, paint, sing, dance, pretend, imagine, and explore their world in a variety of ways.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
Our kids LOVED their two years here. Caring staff, great facility and activities, and lots of learning to be had. They always wanted to go to ORNS on "school mornings"! We are actually a second-generation ORNS family as my wife attended with her brother in the late 70s-early 80s. Different location now but same happy results!
