As you grow, your diet and workout program should change with you. Plateaus are very real and in fitness we strive to continuously get better. You can select the amount of time you wish to have guidance, whether that is me temporarily helping you or staying there with you through out the whole process and guiding you to your fitness goals.

My training Studio is located in Sand City and I offer in person sessions along with online coaching to help you reach your fitness goals. Get the help you need to succeed in your fitness endeavors! I am a personal trainer in Monterey, California. I grew up here on the Monterey Peninsula and realized from the early age of 15 that I wanted to help people feel better about themselves. I started writing training programs for friends and family and eventually that passion turned into a major goal of mine- affect as many people as possible and teach them my craft in fitness.

It's hard to sum up in words what it's been like to train with Neil. Prior to meeting Neil, the gym was a dreaded place to be, and although I'd always maintained, I'd rarely experienced progress. I was always intimidated by the notion of what weight training was, and I'm grateful to say that has all changed. Not only have I seen incredible changes physically, I've experienced them mentally. It's been a great experience training with Neil. Being that I'd scarcely weight trained in the past, I needed someone who knew the ins and outs. Neil is an amazing trainer. I have been working with him 10 months after my pregnancy, and he helped not only get back on track with my weight and fitness, but also get in, probably, the best shape of my life. He is extremely professional, loves what he is doing, result and goal-oriented, flexible with scheduling and what is also important - fun to train with and very personable. I am very happy with the results and hope to continue training with him on the regular basis.

One year ago, at 51 years old I began a journey to improve myself. I was out of shape, over weight, and depressed. I needed to make lifestyle a change but I had no idea how to start. The only thing I knew was that I couldn't do it alone. After searching the internet, I found Neil on Yelp and scheduled a session with him.

At our initial training session I explained my fitness goals (Weight loss and muscle tone), Neil developed a diet and exercise plan for me based on my age, weight, body fat percentage, and fitness level.

My husband and I moved to the Monterey area last year and we knew that the first thing we needed to do was to find a personal trainer. While we had been doing some weight training, we knew we needed to work with someone who was focused on us and our particular needs. This is especially true for my husband, who has had multiple back and neck surgeries. I started working out with Neil right away. This is the real deal. Neil helped me get in shape for an international sports competition & in 2 months did more for my fitness than I had done in twice that time. Did great at the competition & will keep on working with this results driven professional.

Neil is an incredible trainer! It's been years since I lifted weights religiously and he's helped me ease back into it. My goal was toning of my legs & arms and I'm super impressed with my results!

Neil can also provide a diet and workouts if you're not able to come multiple days a week. He is very encouraging and is pushing me to new limits!

There's a reason why Neil has five star reviews so let me add one more. If you have an injury, you're looking to get ahead of your pain or out of it, stop reading and call Neil. Three weeks ago, I was three months post-op from a microscopic lumbar decompression. After failed attempts to regain strength through PT, I finally found Neil. My life has changed completely. If your thinking about getting into fitness and you have no clue what to do or where to start, I recommend Neil as your guy to help you achieve your goals. His knowledge and passion for fitness will help keep you motivated and consistent to reaching your goals. I remember when I first got a gym membership, the hardest thing for me was staying determined during my workouts. My fiance started seeing Neil. I had bad shoulders and back so I asked my fiance to ask if he could help me. The answers Neil gave to my fiance was enough.

Neil's approach is to loosen up joints and muscles. For me, that is the right approach. My aching joints and muscles have relaxed and I'm feeling great. I have another 6 months to go for my ideal weight and with the diet Neil has me on, I'll be there in time for my wedding.

Neil is fantastic and I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a personal trainer.

Neil is an amazing trainer! He customizes your workout specifically for you and targets the areas you want to work on. Neil is great for motivation. I have trained with other trainers and Neil is absolutely the best!

Danielle Mallett at Neil's Fitness is the best! I started working out with her when she was at the JCC in Los Gatos. When we started I was really out of shape after recovering from a long illness. We started slowly. Danielle focused a lot on getting my form right at first -- correct posture for the exercises and so forth. I was pretty wobbly but it was amazing how fast I got stronger working with Danielle. She is very knowledgeable in everything she does. I'm now in the best shape of my life. I met Neil at a local gym through an old friend. We lifted a few times together and decided to pull me out of the funk I was in.
I've since signed up for his meal plans and his studio space. I continue to improve weekly.
