Doris is a step above the rest. This is the first time I had my hair done here and her attention to detail and hair care regimen is top notch. I am a natural but I wanted a blow out and trim. I left with silky smooth hair full of body. It has been a long time since I have left a salon feeling like the stylist did a great job. I am truly happy with her service.

Called two consecutive days leaving a detailed voicemail seeking an initial appointment along with attempting to schedule online with a follow up message. Voicemail implies there's a short window for return calls, however this is not the case. Customer service is terrible-false expectations. It appears this is not the only complaint concerning lack of correspondence. Doris whenever you read this please know that in this day & time when we're trying to support black owned businesses you must do better. You're in an area that suggests you're in demand due to the rarity of black owned professional

This is a long overdue review! However, I have to give this woman a 5 star rating for backing up what she says. Most people are incapable of doing that, but not her! I went here because of the 5 star rating and all of the reviews are accurate detailing the type of service she provides! I don’t trust anyone with my hair, but I went out on a limb and I’m so glad that I did! She is individualized in her approach and is very clear of what can and cannot be done based on the condition of your hair. I love how forthcoming she is and how she was able to relate to me and who I am to provide the best

I have been coming to Doris for a few months now and my hair has never looked better. She takes the time to work with my hair texture. My hair texture has always been difficult to work with being a mix of African American and Caucasian. I never knew what products were right for my hair. She takes the time to educate you and inform you what products are best for your hair type. She's flexible and always works with my schedule. I finally have beautiful hair that I'm proud of! My hair is healthy and shiny even after workouts! Doris is truly the best!

Doris is very concern about hair care. She schedules you for a 15 hair consultation were she looks at your hair and gives you suggestions on the the regiment for your specific hair texture to get it to it's healthiest state. I really like that she doesn't treat everyone hair the same. She has several different relaxer that would be suited specifically for your hair.
I have sensitive scalp but my hair is very thick with a very tight curl. Other stylist would use the extremely strong relaxer that would straiten my hair but really burn my scalp. She had my hair looking beautiful and healthy after

I called her answering service and (thankfully) she called me back before she left her shop. Not only did she stay late to do my hair, she still consulted with me about my hair needs.
