St. Paul's Lutheran Preschool strives to create a warm and loving Christian community for your child. We encourage your child to have active involvement with the physical environment, learn to be self-sufficient, solve problems, interact with peers in positive ways, and thrive in all areas of development.
Our Lord is the Lord who serves. By his perfect life, sacrificial death, and glorious resurrection, Jesus accomplished our salvation through his acts of service. Now seated at the Father's right hand, he continues to serve his Church with his gifts. When we gather together for worship, therefore, we come to receive forgiveness, life, and the strengthening of our faith through his Word and Sacraments.

We believe in the one true God of the Bible who has revealed himself primarily in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ. In fact, we believe Jesus is God himself in human flesh. Thus, we also believe in the Holy Trinity, one God in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Rev. Mark A. Pierson serves as our pastor at St. Paul's. He also teaches courses on theology and philosophy at Concordia University Irvine, and is obtaining his PhD in New Testament studies. His writings have appeared in various publications, including Higher Things, Modern Reformation, and a handful of books.

Just visited and if you have a child that is 2 years old or older, they potty train if needed and are considered as one of the best schools in the Long Beach area. This is one of the better preschools in the area. The staff are all well educated, and each classroom follow a consistent and progressive teaching process that includes music, art, creative play and phonics, which of course helps all the children to enjoy reading and creative play.

St. Paul's is where God's eternal, healing and life-giving Word is rightly preached, and God's free gifts, those that build trust in Christ's promises and provide forgiveness of sins, via His physical means of delivery (water baptism, bread-and-wine communion, and His spoken words of forgiveness) are rightly delivered. Did you know that Jesus of Nazareth regularly dined with some really awful, notorious people-- the most despised of His day (Luke 15:2)? (In middle-Eastern culture, you only dined with those who were in your social circle.) He purposely sought them out, and He still does today

St. Paul's Preschool is the best in town! Both my son's attended the preschool as well as my niece and nephew. We put our 100% trust and faith in the kind and caring staff to take wonderful care of our children everyday. Each member of the staff is dedicated to providing the children with the tools they need to be steps ahead of others when the graduate to kindergarten. I cannot imagine a better place to send my children or my family for preschool.
