At the onset of the pandemic, Michigan Corrections Organization partnered with the law firm Charters, Tyler, Zack & Shearer, P.C. to assist union members in navigating the worker’s comp process and, if necessary, open legal cases on their behalf.
Since then, Attorney John Charters has given advice to about 250 MCO members and opened worker’s comp cases for others. He provided invaluable expertise to these members and enabled them to take advantage of benefits they’re entitled to.

Attorney John Charters is amazing at what he does. Attorney John really cares about his clients and is dedicated to win and fight for his clients rights. I give Sean Shearer 5 ⭐,s because, the man believes in the work he does. He's passionate, compassionate, empathetic, kind hearted, & works like the Duracell bunny, he never quits. I've referred several people to Sean, because I was so pleased w/ the great results I was blessed with for having him on my side. I would use him again. I still call him from time to time just to say hi. He's just truly an honorable & trustworthy man.
