Annual wood-destroying insect inspections are critical for early detection of termite activity in your home. Detecting a termite infestation early gives you the best chance of avoiding significant damage and expensive repairs.

We are in the process of buying a home built in 1880, so the inspection was a pretty big deal to get right. Jim did an amazing job with all the specifics we need to feel good not only about buying our new home, but knowing what the next several years of maintenance and repair will probably look like for us. Jim is incredibly knowledgeable about historic homes and was honestly the first professional we dealt with who didnt treat us like we were crazy or making a huge mistake by buying an old house. So, our report was 100+pages, but we basically have a users manual for our house now, and we love

After searching the internet for home inspection services I chose K&J Inspections because they appeared to me have the required licenses and experience and being a small family owned business, would offer a personal touch. I requested a pre-listing inspection of my home and choose the day, and time. Jim arrived on time and after introductions got right to work. He explained how he would conduct the inspection and that he had all the tools and equipment necessary to complete the inspection. I am so glad I chose K & J Inspection to perform my Home Inspection. Jim did such a thorough job both on the outside and inside of the home. He patiently answered ALL of my questions and offered guidance on repairs that were needed. I received my detailed report with pictures later that day as promised. K&J inspections did a pre-listing inspection before we list our house for sale. Jim was on-time, courteous, and professional. He didn't even mind the dogs wanting to be his best friend.
The report is VERY thorough with pictures, descriptions, and recommendations.
We also used K&J for Radon testing. This was not at all invasive and we received our results back within a few days.
As others have said, if you have a choice, K&J should be #1.

K&J Inspections is the best company my wife and I have ever worked with when it came time for a home inspection.
