Im not the type to leave reviews but i read them and that's why i will take a moment to share my experiences. All three of my children have this pediatric establishment. We all relocated here in Waxahachie from Dallas and I was concerned about switching but definitely glad I did. Both of these doctors have gone above and beyond in diagnosing/caring for my children. They take the time and keep it personal while staying serious. It's always a pleasant experience to not have to wait an extreme amount of time to be seen also. My middle child is high risk/special needs and they are very accommodating

We took my grand daughter to see her for her 6 months shots and advised her that every time my grand daughter eats she throws up half the bottle. Dr. Strength told my child that it was normal. I called her back and she all she was concerned about is money. She advised me to make another appointment and bring her back in when she was just there two days prior and it should had been address then. Please don’t waste your time this lady is TRASH.

Inadequate office staff, teenagers at front desk. My grandson is high functioning autistic. He has stomach issues as does all autistic children. His teachers and nurse at Marvin Elementary in Waxahachie calls my son at work repeatedly to come get him for having diarrhea. This is normal for him, he is not sick. District policy says a child with diarrhea must go home and stay out an additional 24 hours! Dr . Strength knows this. She refused to write us a note for the school explaining this. Instead she said we would have to see a Gastroenterologist. We did today. This dr. Happily gave us the letter

I am giving 2 stars versus 1 as to not base my entire opinion on the unfortunate experience I had today. Dr. Strength was a much warmer and engaged physician in the prior 4 years we have seen her. Today my intelligence was insulted and it absolutely blew my mind. I endure enough challenges parenting a child with a disability without anyone making it harder. The excuse they gave for not completing a standard disability form was laughable. They wasted both my time and theirs simply to prove a point and feel superior. While I am sure that they, including (Dr. Strength, Kelsey, the office manager and

I don't recommend this Dr. office, warning to any new or recent gonna try this Dr. She is so unprofessional. If it was possible to give this Dr. a rating of Zero stars I would have, cause how disappointed to the visit for my child. I don't really give out reviews, but I am so outrage of this Dr... She never asked how my child was doing, I felt like she didn't feel concerned for my child well being, never believed my child had any symptoms, just making stupid remarks about other stuff. To my believe she acted unprofessional. Sorry for my rant on here but people gotta know what there gonna go through

Some of the ladies at the front are friendly. The majority of them are rude, tend to roll their eyes and should not be working at a pediatrician's office.
Dr. Strength was a great pediatrician almost a decade ago, but she seems to have become so jaded that she has forgotten how to listen to her patients and their parents. I have never had a more than 2 minute conversation with her and my son has been going here for 3 years. She is rude and dismissive and has a horrible bedside manner. She needs to retire.
Nurse James was great until about a year ago, and was the reason I didn't switch after meeting

I have been taking my daughter to this clinic since my daughter was 1 or 2 months. I have never felt satisfied with my visits here. When she was a few months old we went in for shots and she had been sick so I asked if she could prescribe her some medicine and she said no just buy tylenol, when I asked how much I should give her she got on her calculator and "did some math" and told me 8mil! She even wrote it on a sticky note for me! When I purchased the medicine I just went with the suggestions on the box. At her 1 year appointment the NP gave me a paper with "helpful" information/instructions

The staff at this office is very unfriendly and do not have good customer service skills at all. When you walk in there’s a glass door where you can not see the person behind it and it says to just write your name down to sign in then 5 minutes later they check the list. My visit with my two kids lasted over an hour. Our appointment was at 8:15 am and we did not go back into the room until after 8:45. 20 minutes later the doctor came in and gave a very short and brief check up. Did not check vitals and did not discuss child development. Visit with doctor was less than 5 minutes. Took 15 minutes

This comment is based on our last visit. We are very very disappointed with this place. We have been coming here for over two years and the last visit we scheduled a check out for our child with flu shot and vaccination. The nurse seems annoyed from the beginning she did not take temperature or weight or ask us any questions about the child she simply wanted to get it over with. There was no check up and no vaccination done after the flu shot we waited in the room and she never returned so we just left and we will never be coming back here again. To be fair we were seen by a registered nurse named

The appointment was not kept timely by the office. They saw us almost an hour later. The office knew that my son had Medicaid and still saw him. I paid out of pocket just for the physician to tell me she can't write a script because she doesn't accept his Medicaid plan type. Not only that, the office manager took issue with me questioning the bill and the Dr informed me she wouldn't see my son anymore because he has Medicaid and they don't pay anyway . I'll be following up with Medicaid accordingly. All of this because of a rude office manager and an upset Dr because

I took my daughter to visit Dr. Strength and I was very dissatisfied. My daughter was in The ER two days previously and was diagnosed with a middle ear infection so we were following up.

Dr. Strength:
As far as experience, she seems to know what she is talking about - at least she carries herself that way. She told us the ER physician was wrong and that our baby has a virus of some sort.

What I truly disliked is that she literally told me not to come back. Because we were considering delayed vaccination, she tried to blame Obama and the system. Then she continued to say that any doctor that

I have many years experience with this pediatrician when my children and grandchildren were growing up. I also worked with her in the newborn nursery at Baylor Waxahachie years ago.
I value and respect this physician as I have seen her in action when seconds could mean life or death. She is amazing!

Recently I also had the honor and privilege to meet James Hay the Nurse Practitioner in her office. I spent 5 days there for my clinical rotation for school and found them both to be full of knowledge and experience from years of practice.
Moreover, they truly care about each and every one of their
