Absolute biggest waste of time and money. If you’re looking to give your money away and never hear back this is your place. You cannot view or see homes until applications are approved. Recently applied for several properties, first home was rented to someone else, second and third homes I applied for took almost 2 months to hear anything back. When I did hear back it was only because I was denied without an explanation of denial. I recommend staying clear of this property management if possible.

Horrible service, my family and I were ready to rent a home from them, we had filled out all of the paper work needed and had paid $160 in application fees and have not received refunds. We received a call from five star property management telling us that they had rented out the house to the owners family member after my family and I were already lined up to move in. They made excuses saying they did not have all of our paperwork, even though they did. They cheated us out of home we needed. Do not use five star!

My first experience I was denied due to credit, which I assumed would happened but applied anyway just to throw myself out there. I was denied and received a letter saying I could not apply to another propery under their listing for 2 years.
I decided to give it a try only 6 or 7 months later and no one said anything about my first application denial. After Appling they asked me to fill out verification forms and have my employer and land lord sign their portion. Was denied a week later.
Applied to a third property where I was asked to fill out the forms again. So I did. Then I got a reply that

I have no issue with the employees, but the way their process works is terrible. YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE THE HOME!!! They want you to be "pre approved" first, but what's the difference between a pre approval and you fully applying? None. You'll apply for a house with employment and rental checks, income, background checks, everything. And you STILL can't see the house. You have to be selected from the owner, THEN you go see the inside and decide if you want it or not. So basically you just waste a bunch of your time with hopes of moving into a new place IF you're chosen, only to find that you wasted

Like many other property management companies, Five Star seeks to simply entice people to apply for their properties and take their money to apply without actually helping them find a home. I was denied for a home even though I will be working for Memorial Hospital and will be making a six-figure salary. After calling to determine why I was denied they stated they don't discuss reasons for being denied over the phone UNTIL I receive the letter in the mail detailing those reasons. So why does waiting possibly over a week to receive a letter in the mail change why I'm able to discuss those reasons

I called about a property here and asked for a viewing. rather than explaining other ways to to get applications in for the property or any explanations the lady told me that they “don’t show their properties” and then proceeded to hang up on me. She didn’t explain how to apply for the house or any other information just hung up on me. Very unprofessional of a business that tries to rent out other peoples properties and collect a fee for it. Not only would I not use them to find a house, I wouldn’t use them to list a home either because obviously they don’t care about getting the house

If I could give negative stars I would. We waited over a week for anyone to get back to us about forms being sent out. When we tried to reach out to ensure the contacts they had on file for our employment verification forms were correct they we’re short and dismissive.
We were notified that the house we applied for was given to another person, which was fine. However, we never had a notification of a credit check or background check run on myself, my partner, or our co-signer. I would give 0 stars if it was an option. We went to this company to rent a home that we found on their website. We filled out the application and we were on top of them from the beginning of the process to make sure it was done in a timely manner and correctly.
1. As soon as we filled out our application we called them and let them know it has been filled out, and wanted to know the next steps. The woman that answered the phone was very RUDE and short. It did not get off to a good start.
2. We had to wait 2 days to even get an email they say that is sent to everyone with their rules and confirming
