Tim Whistler Plumbing & Gas Fitting
Licensed and insured. This should be a given. However, check with other plumbing and gas contractors and you will be surprised to see how many are not properly certified or carry no, or substandard, insurance. With Tim Whistler Plumbing and Gas fitting, your work will be performed by a licensed and insured technician.

By the book. Tim Whistler Plumbing & Gas Fitting installs all plumbing and gas fitting materials and equipment to manufacturers' specifications and has work inspected when code requires. Many companies state that they perform their jobs to local code. The definition of code is the minimum requirements to allow a job to pass inspection.
Services
Tim Whistler Plumbing and Gasfitting was founded in 2012 by Tim, a master plumber and gasfitter. After working for more than 20 years in the business, he decided it was time to venture out on his own. With the help of a couple skilled and hard-working guys and his wife and office manager, he began to lay the foundation for what is today a successful, well-known, and even more well-regarded business.
We will come out, inspect your gas fireplace and make certain it is safe and in proper working order. Depending on unit we may test gas pressures, all safety sensors and the gas valve. We will take the CO emission readings and test any remote control or switch devices. All readings will be explained and an estimate will be provided for any needed repairs.
Just a quick note to heartily recommend Tim Whistler Plumbing's services. We found Tim through the neighborhood list serve when we were looking for a plumbing company to take care of two clogged drains. We decided to give him a try and we couldn't have been more pleased. Tim was prompt, professional and conscientious.

This is the second time we used Tim Whistler Plumbing. First time was to check the natural gas line for our outdoor kitchen. They were magnificent then and we were very pleased this time again. Our water heater started leaking suddenly on a Friday morning, which was the original installed 20 years ago or so. We called Tim Whistler, who had us on record through our phone number. They acted quickly, and sent a technician within 3 hours. Mike, the technician, was great. He knew what he was doing, and worked diligently to replace the water heater before the evening. The whole team was really concerned

My husband and I have only been in our new home for about a month, so naturally some issues are starting to appear that need to be addressed. A few weeks ago, for a separate issue, I called a chain plumber and the whole time they were at my house, they were trying to upsell me on various things and the prices they were quoting seemed inordinately expensive. When our garbage disposal started leaking from the bottom, I knew we needed to consult a different plumbing team. I looked through a community Facebook group and called two numbers before trying Tim Whistler Plumbing. The first number rang until

I read up on Tim's reviews and thought he was a good fit for installing the water softener i ordered. So i called him up and scheduled an appointment to get my water softener installed and after i sent him the information about my water softener, he told me it would be $750-$950; this was 10 days in advance... 9 days later, he calls up and said that the water softener i owned was unusually complicated and that it would require more time than he anticipated and that he did not know how much it would end up costing he then told me it could be around $1300-$1500 but he was not sure... He said there

We had a sewer backup and Mike Fleming and the team (Mike Rogers and a contractor) did a great job in replacing a part of the sewer pipe of our house under the basement slab. Also, Maria was very kind and responsible for scheduling, and Tim responded quickly whenever I asked questions by email and explained things in detail where needed before and after the work.
More specifically, they came to diagnose the issue with a snake and a camera and identified that there was a root intrusion which blocked and damaged the pipe. They provided honest view and possible (best and worst) scenarios before the

We had a mysterious leak in our basement and called Tim Whistler Plumbing. Robert came out and diagnosed the problem quickly. He explained the situation to us, provided us with an estimate, and then began the work. It required him to cut through a wall to get to the portion of the pipe that needed to be replaced. Robert was terrific. He was very communicative, very capable, and very pleasant. The work was done extremely well and he even cleaned up when he was done. He was a pleasure to have in our home, as well as being an excellent plumber.

I called Tim Whistler Plumbing in mid-February to get an estimate for changing the main water service line and repiping of a 76-year old house with galvanized pipes that were buying.
Tim's estimate and pricing was very reasonable compared to the other two estimates we received.
From the day we gave the job to Tim to the day the the job was completed in early March 2017, we were kept informed on every step of the progress.
Tim, his wife Maria and his entire crew are professional, knowledgeable, detailed-oriented and friendly.
During the 2-1/2 day job, Tim kept us informed of the progress and
