Our Montessori preschool classrooms are a land of unlimited opportunity for the child and a joyful place to be where the teachers will not interfere with a child's exploration, but rather be a readily available guide if help is required. Our curriculum primarily consists of providing care giving rituals and guiding infants towards independence.
The Toddler prepared environment and program is designed to meet the developmental needs of the young child while fostering the independence of children who want to do things for themselves. Our Primary classrooms are well prepared environments that apply the Montessori Method and philosophy to support the child's natural drive toward independence, concentration, coordination and sense of order.

Services
Spondeo Montessori Preschool & Kindergarten was founded in 2010 with six students in one primary classroom. Today, we offer Infant, Toddler, and Primary environments for children ages six weeks old to six years old. The school aims create the best environment to support and nurture all children's innate love of learning using the methods of education developed by Dr. Maria Montessori.
Prior to enrolling your child at Spondeo Montessori, we encourage all parents to schedule a tour of our campus. Touring our campus offers you the opportunity to see students at work in our Montessori environment and witness our welcoming environment. Tours are scheduled Monday through Friday at 9:00am, 9:45am, and 10:30am.
True to Dr. Maria Montessori's philosophy, children attending Spondeo Preschool do not work for grades or external rewards. Children learn because they are naturally curious and because all children share a desire to become competent and independent human beings. In our carefully designed programs and prepared environments, children progress at their own pace, moving on to the next step in each area of learning as they are ready.

My granddaughter is 2.5 yea old and has been going to Spondeo for about 14 months. She was out 3 weeks in December 2021 because of Covid in the family and Christmas break. When she returned on January 4, 2022 as she walked in her classroom she screamed because she was so excited to be back at school. This little girl can carry on a conversation like she is 6yrs old. I know she is learning so much at school and enjoys her teachers and friends she made. Thank everyone at Spondeo.

My grand daughter started at Spondeo when she was 18 months old. How she has grown since then. Amazing how much her vocabulary has grown, she is curious and always learning. She talks about her teachers, friends and looks forward to school each day. Ivan the owner grew up in his Grandmothers Montessori school in Phoenix which has been there over… 40yrs. We started our son at Spondeo when he was 2. As a stay-at-home mom, I had not originally imagined I would enroll him in preschool so young but it was clear to me that his emerging social development needed more opportunities for nurturing than I was able to provide him at home, even with the most creative and resourceful of parenting. In looking for a school for our daughter I was very picky about where she would go. My wife and I visited over 5 preschools for our both sons under 3 about 2 years ago. Spondeo was finally the school that checked all boxes on our must have list. Cleanliness, personable teachers, small size of classes and healthy food served to our kids. We love this school and have recommended it to most of our friends.

Before Spondeo, our family knew very little about the Montessori philosophy. And while we still do not follow Montessori to a “T” at home, we couldn’t be more grateful that our daughters (one who is now 5 years old and was at Spondeo since she was 9 weeks old! And the other who is 2.5 years old and also been there since she was 10 weeks old) are experiencing Montessori in the environment Spondeo provides. We love Spondeo! Our son attended for three years before starting Kindergarten and our daughter is currently attending and has been at the school for nearly 18 months. She started in the Toddler room and transitioned to the Primary classroom in October. All of the lead and assistant teachers for both of my kids have been amazing. We started my son at Spondeo when he turned 3 years old. My husband was raised attending montessori schools and we toured several schools around the area. Some of which as my husband noted were montessori in name only and didn't really follow the ideas behind the teaching method. My son really flourished at Spondeo and was able to learn at his own rate and level (ahead of the usual curriculum). We kept him at Spondeo for his kindergarten year where he really did well with being more of a leader in the classroom and helping with his classmates.

We have two boys currently ages 2 & 5 that have both been at Spondeo since they were 3 months old. My wife and I cannot say enough great things about this school and the amazing staff. Our boys have flourished because of this great school and do not feel there is a better education and experience for our kids anywhere. Our 5 year old has now transitioned to public schools in Kindergarten and has quickly become a leader among his peers. Highly recommend Spondeo!

We fell in love with Spondeo on our tour! We loved seeing how the staff encourages children to truly enjoy learning. Allowing the children to choose what they want to "play" with and not interrupting the critical focus they are demonstrating. You can feel the staff genuinely loves guiding the children, it is not just a job to them. The room is calm and peaceful with positive speaking. We kept in close contact with Mrs. Jill the director after our tour, asking any additional questions we could come up with. Both of our boys started school here and we couldn't have been more pleased! All the teachers made a real connection with our children and they absolutely love going there every day!
