Services
Plantation Midtown Animal Hospital has been pleased to provide a wide variety of veterinary services for dogs and cats since 1964. We pride ourselves in patient care and customer service while our staff maintains the feeling of comfort and trust. We are located at the NW corner of Peters Rd. and University Drive in the Publix shopping center right behind Wells Fargo.
Dr. Parsons is originally from Canada, having moved here in 2015 to enjoy everything Florida has to offer and hasn't looked back! Dr. Parsons completed a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College. She prides herself in providing individualized care tailored to the needs of the client and the pet.
Having been involved in animal rescue for over 30 years, I've worked with an assortment of animal care facilities in several states. None have equaled the compassion and professionalism of the medical and clerical staff at Plantation animal hospital. Since we found them in 1966, my large family of kitties and I have always felt at home and in the best hands.

I've never been to a more professional and caring veterinary practice. Dr Parsons was the only vet that was able to diagnose my cat correctly. The front desk people and the vet techs are efficient, kind and reassuring. I travel all the way from downtown Fort Lauderdale to bring my cat there. It's worth the trip.

Dr. P and the team at Midtown recently helped save our 4 month old parvo pup who was rescued from Broward Humane. They met us with compassion and empathy during a very scary week of treatment to ensure we gave our girl the best shot at surviving one of the most deadly diseases to afflict our fur babies. We can’t thank them enough!!!

Dr Parsons and her staff treated my foster puppy for parvo and were absolutely amazing! They kept us in the loop with everything and helped her pull through, even after a grim outlook by another vet. They are so friendly and the place is clean and organized. Thank you so much for all you do!

I brought two tiny kittens I was fostering for Good Karma Pet Rescue. They were found on the streets and has panleukopenia. The staff and the Dr were most kind and the Doctor even took the kittens home to care for them overnight every evening. I’m forever grateful, such care and compassion make a huge difference.
