Dr. Stelljes was born and raised in South Florida. It was her life long dream to become a veterinarian. She attended Florida International University for undergraduate and attended the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the Hollywood Animal Hospital in Hollywood, FL., and joined our practice in 2004 as an associate veterinarian.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately.
Laser therapy treatments are fast and pain-free, making them well-tolerated by most pets. There is no clipping or shaving required for the treatment area. When your pet arrives for therapy they will be situated in a comfortable position, and may be outfitted with laser-safe doggles. You will also receive laser-safe eyewear to wear during treatment if you remain with your pet during therapy.

I love this vet office!! I've lived all over the US and been to many different vets over the years. This place is by far my favorite place I've ever taken my pups. The veterinarians and vet techs are all sooooo nice and compassionate and clearly love animals. I feel like they genuinely care about my dogs. They take their time with you during the visit and follow up in the days afterwards. I highly recommend them! ❤

Dr. Stelljes and her staff are amazing. My dog had some post surgery complications but they are going above and beyond to take care of him and make sure he heals properly. Dr Stelljes is even coming in on her day off to change his bandages. I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. My dog typically is very skittish, but he overall is very comfortable coming here!

I brought my greyhound to Dr. Katz, and I was so impressed with her professionalism and knowledge. She spent a significant amount of time talking with me to understand the issues I was having with my sweet girl. After meeting with other vets in the area, I feel the most comfortable with her and will definitely continue my care there. I would also recommend her to anyone.
