We offer many services for breeders and their pets such as Artificial Insemination, Semen Collection, Vaginal smears, Progesterone, and Pregnancy tests, Brucellosis testing, as well as puppy count x-rays or ultrasounds and c-sections.Surgeries are scheduled Monday through Friday by appointment. Our surgeries are dropped off at 7:30 am.

We are always looking to add new clients to our Old Towne family and welcome the opportunity to meet you and your beloved pets. Located in Fair Oaks with service in Sacramento Country & the Greater Sacramento area. A client information sheet can be filled out here prior to your pet's exam. We ask that you come in 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled time so that we have time to establish your account.
Thank you for considering our hospital as your pet's provider of veterinary services. We are dedicated to maintaining the health of your pet and look forward to many future years together. The required sections have a red * asterisk. We ask that our clients provide a minimum of 24-hour notice for appointment rescheduling or cancellation.

We are by appointment only, however, Emergency cases shall always receive top priority followed by Patients with previously scheduled appointments.

Dr.Whitaker is absolutely amazing and worked so amazingly with our rambunctious Norwegian Lundehund’s. He’s got such great energy, and went over all my concerns I had all while pups were crawling all over him. This was definitely one of the best pet visits we’ve had. The vet techs, and the front office staff are always super kind, courteous and you can tell they truly love working with all the animals. We absolutely love this office and I’m truly happy we found them. We will never go anywhere else for our pups. Thank you all so much for making us and our fur babies feel safe and well taken

Old Towne is a gem. We have a dog with special needs, and are frequent flyers at the vet's office. We have worked with many of the different doctors as our urgent care needs have changed and each time we are grateful for their caring responsiveness. They handle not only Myrtle's unique needs/difficulties, but also the unique differences from our family- like taking her diaper bag in to her appointments and never complaining about the (unfortunate) number of "fluids" they have dealt with on our behalf! If you are looking for a vet who is not only medically competent, but also emotionally responsive

Sierra Pacific Great Pyrenees Rescue along with my personal animals have been coming to Old Towne Animal Hospital for approx. 16 yrs and before the current ownership, under Dr. Borman another 20 yrs (before he retired). Dr. Wooden owns the clinic and has been an invaluable resource to me and to the rescue dogs in our program. We have been caring for rescue dogs for over 36 yrs and in that time we've had many extremely critical cases; everything from gun shots, burns, broken bones and dogs near death due to severe illness and neglect. Dr. Wooden in my opinion comes as close to a veterinarian can

I have an old dog that has every health issue under the sun, and when her previous vet retired, I was looking for one closer to my house - especially after she was diagnosed with heart failure at an emergency vet.
I tried Old Towne because it was suggested by so many people and they are also open on Sundays which was good for my work schedule. I'm so glad I tried them! My dog has seen Dr. Caballero each time, as well as Sheena, and they have been amazing. I've been really impressed with the quality of care here all around.
I thought that my time with my dog was very limited and coming to an end
