Emily Roberts received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012, and her Bachelor of Science in Human Development, also at the University of Wisconsin. Emily spent the first part of her career back in the midwest where she is from. It is there that she began to specialize in treating runners, low back, hip and pelvic pain.
Upon a detailed evaluation and assessment of your condition, you will receive an explanation of a treatment plan designed to best meet your needs and maximize improvement. We use a variety of manual therapy techniques including but not limited to: joint and soft tissue mobilization/manipulation, visceral mobilization, instrument assisted soft tissue work, and kinesiotaping.
What is the pelvic floor? The pelvic floor is an integral part of our core and is comprised of muscles which surround the opening of the urethra, vagina (in women) and rectum. Pelvic floor therapy involves restoring function around the pelvis and optimizing organ and structural function with retraining the coordination of these muscles.
When you arrive at Klein Physical Therapy, you will immediately feel as though you are entering a warm, wholistic environment, instead of a doctor's office. We will get some information regarding your history and condition, and then we will uniquely assess you for range of motion, posture, strength, and movement analysis, as well as the quality of your joints and soft tissues.
