Always a great meal. Discovered this restaurant when they first opened years ago, after reading a review in a local magazine. Have not looked back. This is my favorite restaurant in CT. Menu changes seasonally and I can always find a few things that I could eat over and nicer again. Small, hidden gem that I come to at least once per month.

I discovered Olio while passing through Stamford on business. I had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The roasted cod with cauliflower and butternut squash purée and roasted corn was incredible! It’s clear the chef is a master of his craft and his menu proves it. And he has a full bar with great wine selection.
The staff is friendly, highly competent and attentive. The place itself has an intimate ambiance and the bar right in front of the open kitchen is a great place to eat.
I give it 100 stars!

Our two favorite restautants in Stamford are Cafe Silvium and Olio. Completely different but each does what it does extremely well. We've been to both enough to excuse the occasional restaurant faux pas...nobody is perfect...but in any event they rarely happen. Excellent food, great menu flexibility if desired, and friendly, efficient service. If there's a better brunch in Fairfield County than Olio's, I'd love to try it!

Wonderful neighborhood Italian restaurant but it can be a pain to get a good reservation unless you book well in advance. I have rarely been able to walk in off the steer and get a table. The food is excellent and the place is small that's why tables are at a premium. But if you can plan ahead you will have a good time.

Very innovative menu for its location in north Stamford neighborhood of Springdale. Portions are good sized and we were able to share an entree after we each ate an app. Pickled veggies and fried pork belly was a filling starter. My spouse had the meatballs and loved them. The scallops were perfectly seared and placed atop sautéed mushrooms and other veggies which were very tasty.

I visited on a week night, sat right away and was tended to consistently throughout the evening. Really good service, and the waitress was very attentive. It’s a pretty small space, small bar with a nice ambiance and decor.
The food, OMG! Very delicious, packed with so much flavor! We ordered the blue cheese salad with fried pork belly cubes as an appetizer, so f’ing good!! I ordered the NY Strip Steak 🥩medium rare w/ mash potatoes, caramelized onions, asparagus etc and OMG it was to die for! No steak sauce needed!
My partner ordered the chicken parmigiana I believe? Not sure but she really

Food is great but nothing to write in a magazine. Service is sometimes perfect and sometimes sub par. I feel like I'll get the owner to seat me and take care of of us sometimes and then others times, a college kid with poorly cut hair who just wants to make a few bucks for the summer. Which is totally fine! But the inconsistency of their service is why it's 4 stars not 5. But the food, good, people, friendly, atmosphere clean and calm!

The food was absolutely divine. While the ambience itself is not all that, the food more than makes up for the disappointment of the place.
Edit: So since I loved the food so much and the staff was wonderful, I decided to go back for brunch with my Nana ... BEST. DECISION. EVER! I think I missed the initial concept of simplicity the owner was going for. I actually love the bright lime walls as well as the accent glass pane that actually defines what "Olio" means and where it is derived from against the dark wooden furniture with off-white seats. In short, I don't believe there is anything on the

Another delicious dinner at Olio
White bean and escarole soup with a light tomato base and chock full of flavor.
Rib eye and shrimp..... fit for a king, nice portion and the fresh mixed veggies were an extra added touch! Steak was cooked to perfection.
Mayte Margarita, great spicy kick.
Atmosphere is cozy but not cramped, all Covid precautions were followed!! THANK YOU!!

My wife and I and friends went here for Sunday brunch. The mimosa selection is creative, delicious, and very reasonably priced. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the chefs and bartenders do their thing. The food is here delicious, the drinks were great, and the service was great. It got very busy quickly so I would suggest going for brunch by 11:30am.

Yup 5 stars- fantastic service, ambiance, food and cocktails. Everything was delicious from the bread to the margaritas to the pork belly and coconut mussels to the red grouper and pork chop. Chocolate mousse and espresso martini were the best ending to an amazing meal. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back.

Had a reservation for 8pm on a Wednesday night. It's a small restaurant, so we still had to wait. The service is OK. Not super attentive. The food is fantastic. I had the pork special, which was absolutely incredible -cooked to perfection.
They have some very creative food options and are gluten free friendly for appetizers, mains, and desserts.

Came here with my husband for dinner and it was great. It's not a very spacious restaurant, it's cozy and clean. The food tasted amazing. We had the local burrata, wellington half chicken and the cream brulee. Everything was so tasty and it was sufficient for the two of us. Definitely would recommend this place if you are looking for something a little fancy but not completely formal.

Came here for Brunch one weekend with my DJ - had the Egg in a Hole - Parmesan Reggiano, Truffle Oil Roasted Plum Tomatoes, Pancetta Served with Hash Brown Potato Gratin - $14. Well worth it. It was excellent - I was concerned the eggs would be runny inside the "hole" so I asked to please be sure they were cooked hard. Loved it. We also ordered the
House Made Pancakes - Buttermilk, with Apple Wood Smoked Bacon and Served with Hash Brown Potato Gratin. $15. They came in Plain, Chocolate or Blueberry. We took them plain. Fantastic.
