Services
The baton passed again in 2006 to longtime employees and family friends Frank DeBlasi Sr. and Michael DeBlasi Jr. This partnership between the Day and DeBlasi families will help strengthen family values for future generations. We are the preferred funeral home in our area because we offer many different services and choices for every family.
We offer traditional funeral services that include a burial with wood or metal casket and a graveside funeral service. Day Funeral Home will help your family create a funeral service that is meaningful to you through our caring staff in our comfortable facilities. Pre-Need planning does not mean pre-paying.
Offer guidance to family and friends who will need help with difficult decisions at a stressful time. Through our Funeral Planning CHOICES program, the NJSFDA offers two prepaid funeral funding options available through participating funeral homes. They are: the New Jersey Prepaid Funeral Trust Fund, and Sure Trust Funeral Insurance Administration Trust.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

I never know how to review places like this. So I'll just say that I recently attended a wake here and found the setup to be perfect. The rooms are spacious, so you do not feel crowded. The staff was present at the door to immediately direct me to the proper room.
Hopefully I will not actually need the services of a funeral home for a long time, but if I unfortunately do, I'd be extremely comfortable engaging the services here.
