I have only kind words for Matthew and his family. My mom died unexpectedly and to this day I’m in awe at just the level of compassion and care that was given. Matt was amazing at taking a difficult situation and being able to make the whole experience easier. He’s patient and very informative going above and beyond to help. When I finally got to see my mom, I couldn’t believe the level of care that was given, she was beautiful. I could never thank him enough.

Matthew Freeman Director and Son of family owned Raritan Bay Funeral Service South Amboy NJ, is professional, compassionate and a genuine blessing to me and my family after the passing of my Mother who turned on health quicker than we anticipated and passed suddenly.

The loss of a loved one is devastating enough and to have people there to guide you through the funeral process with compassion makes it easier to breathe. Matt, his family, and staff were amazing. They made sure that all of our questions and concerns were taken care of and never made us feel like a bother. They actually CARE and my family and I felt that.

Before I even choose Raritan Bay Funeral services/ Aftercare Cremations I search around I found that there was no compassion to what I was going through a long year of hospice to a man that set to died from COPD
Once I spoken to Matthew I knew I this was my best choice. He made my dad passing easier to deal with. He was extremely compassionate and caring. He treated my dad with dignity and with respect. Matthew and his crew were caring and professional and they really to care about the love ones who are left behind.

I would highly recommend this funeral home. Matt is extremely compassionate and wes there every step of the way. Matt is polite and answered every question we had either in person or over the phone. He comforted my mother through the whe process. From making the arrangements, to the viewing, to picking up our fathers ashes. I could not thank Matt enough for all he did.

My mom passed away on November 6th after a battle with cancer and Matt was absolutely AMAZING from day one. My family and I were made aware of the little time my mom had left, and Matt helped us get everything prepared ahead of time so once the inevitable happened, he could just take it from there. My mother passed very suddenly and while I was in shock and had no idea what I was doing Matt calmly walked me through every step of the process with great compassion and reverence to the situation.
