In preparation for our recent wedding in Asheville with a reception at an event barn in the beautiful surrounding mountains, we found FIREFLY EVENT COMPANY by searching on line and finding the website. There were so many things there that appealed to us, fit our personalities and had the overall feel of what we wanted for our day.

As the groom's parents, we engaged Jocelyn Huntley from Firefly Event Company to help with the rehearsal dinner the evening before the wedding. The bride chose Firefly and we thought using the same company a good idea. Everyone invited to the wedding was invited to the rehearsal dinner, so, we were planning a dinner for up to 150 people. The wedding was planned about two hours from home. Jocelyn was extremely helpful with advice, suggesting vendors (venue, florist, bakery, etc.). Everything was planned down to the tiniest detail. The day of the event, Jocelyn, Summer and Consuelo were at the venue

Jocelyn and Brenda were such a joy to work with from the very first conversation. Jocelyn had such great and unique ideas to help make our wedding day a special and memorable day for us. On the day of, Jocelyn made sure all the vendors were doing what needed to be done and helping set up, while Brenda kept the wedding party informed of the timeline. (As well as help get the mud off my dress!) They are truly far more than "planners," it feels like they are there as part of your friends and family, so excited to share the day with you! We wouldn't have been able to pull it off with out them. It was amazing to have such support and comfort through a stressful process and to be guided in such a professional way. She definitely made our perfect day happen. Jocelyn and her team made it happen seamlessly through out the actual day and things just happened with out us having to worry, she definitely made a hard job seem easy.
