DO NOT hire this company for your HVAC needs. My AC unit went out over three weeks ago and we are still having issues with the covered repair. The technician was scheduled to come out between 12-5 and didn't show up until 6:45 without any communication about being late. Then left because he claim he couldn't get authorization for the repairs because that department was closed. I had to wait another week for him to come back out to put freon in my unit and seal a leak. Then my unit stop cooling again a few days later. He was scheduled to come back out yesterday between 12-5 and guess what this time

We've been fighting with our home insurers for over 3 years over our ac unit. They insist on sending repair persons 3-4 times a year instead of just replacing the old unit. I tell you this because we've had so many different companies come into our home but NONE were like J F Whitlow Jr and Sons! First, the 2 times this repairman came, he wore a mask. I didn't have to ask. BZ! We've had the Covid immunization but repair people are in and out of so many homes, putting their own families at risk as well as customers, so this simple act told me this person cared about my family

Worst. Service. Ever. It took them over 2 months to install. Then when they put the new system in it stopped working. Two companies came out and in their words they said it was the sloppiest install they'd ever seen and that it looked like preschoolers installed it. They also said the install wouldn't pass a home inspection if we tried to sell our house.Terrible customer service too. Felt bad for install tech. He had to do it by himself whereas the new company had 2 to 3 guys installing. Zero stars if possible.

Kyle needs some mentoring. His communication skills were unprofessional. He didnt return calls or texts and when he followed up with our insurance company he told them the drain was clogged due to mis-use and so we had to pay out of pocket.
Well, pretty much every single clogged drain is “mis-use”. If the drain was used absolutely perfectly every time there wouldn’t be any need for plumbers. But, every once in a while an egg shell or an orange peel gets past the drain and it builds up. Thats life... and thats why I called the plumber, to use my home warranty.
Instead, after paying 900 dollars

I asked for a diagnostic on a leak I didnt know where it was coming from. I was at work and my wife was home and told them I was to authorize any repairs. Plumber tried calling me. Left a voice mail and never spoke to me. (Have multiple voice mails incase anyone wants proof) At that point he should've paused and not done anything further after the… diagnostic. He told my wife that I said to do what's needed (never spoke to him). Pulled the toilet replaced a wax seal (it was leaking where I couldn't see). I never told him to do any actual work. So basically took advantage of my wife being

Terrible customer service. Cancelled the appointment at the very time they were supposed to arrive! When I explained that they took a week to schedule the appointment, that I had already taken off and that the leak had been destroying my cabinets, they said they had no other technician to send. Ridiculous.

I had a great experience with J.F. Whitlow Jr. and Sons for their plumbing service. They were sent to us through our home warranty company (after a failed service call from another company). The ladies who answered the phone were quick, kind and knowledgeable. They had great customer service. The technician they sent out was Lee. He was knowledgeable and thorough and was able to give us full details on the problem we were having with our main line. We are having them back to fix the problem this week! Great service! Thank you all!
