Town & Country Animal Clinic is the oldest veterinary clinic in Montgomery County, serving the Greater Washington area since 1954. Originally founded by Dr. Harold Holbrook, Town & Country Animal Clinic was a mixed animal practice located in Rockville, Maryland for twenty-five years. Dr. Wendy Walker joined the practice in 1979 where she too practiced both large and small animal medicine.
Dr. Sara Moran joined the clinic in 1987 to practice small animal medicine. In 1990, Dr. Walker and Dr. Moran purchased the clinic from Dr. Holbrook. Today we specialize in general small animal medicine and our team is devoted to your pet's wellbeing.

Town & Country Animal Clinic offers preventive care and services for kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. Bringing your pet to one of our veterinarians for a physical exam is the smartest and easiest way to keep them healthy.
Exams allow our veterinarians to detect problems and diseases that might go undiscovered otherwise, including heart murmurs, tumors, enlarged organs, cataracts, ear infections, ear mites, dental disease, skin issues and allergies.

At Town & Country Animal Clinic, our goal is keeping your pet happy and healthy. Thanks to modern diagnostics and our on-site laboratory, we're able to do just that for sick and injured pets. Diagnostic imaging allows us to examine your pet's internal organs and body systems to better diagnose their conditions.
Dental care is an essential part of your pet's overall health. When oral hygiene is neglected, pets can develop dental disease which negatively affects other systems in the body and may lead to tooth loss. A pet's dental health is just as important as their physical health, however, it often goes overlooked.
Town & Country Animal Clinic provides veterinary surgical care and services for cats and dogs. Using state-of-the-art equipment and an experienced team, we'll provide your pet with high-quality surgery in a safe, stress-free and relaxing environment. Our team of skilled veterinarians and technicians are ready to provide your pet with a range of surgeries.

I would give Town & Country 10 stars if I could. My husband and I currently have 2, 8 year old chihuahuas. They have been patients here since they were pups. The staff and doctors genuinely care about you and your pets. I am an emotional pet mom and they are always patient with me and take the time to explain everything to me. They advocate for your pets as well. Sometimes they need to tell pet mom and dad not to feed them the wrong stuff or too much stuff. After my boy chi had surgery, I would leave messages and would get calls back addressing our concerns even during off hours. This is the place

Dr. Moran is an amazing veterinarian. Their staff is also great and professional. Their fees are very reasonable compared to other clinics in the area. My kittens had a reaction to the distemper vaccine and as soon as I notified the staff, Dr. Moran contacted me directly on her day off and even provided her cell phone so I could text her hourly updates on their progress. She was even willing to see them on her day off. My kittens are doing much better now and I’m so thankful for Dr. Moran and this clinic!
