Services
Medina Weekday Preschool maintains a high standard as an outreach of the church to extend a loving hand to all children. We want our children to know they are a child of God, a person to be valued for his or her own unique being. Medina Weekday Preschool was established in 1970 by the Medina United Methodist Church with 55 students in the basement of the church located off Medina's square and moved to a bright new facility in 2012.
We provide 13 different class choices. By offering a developmentally appropriate curriculum, we recognize that no two children are alike and consider each child for their own strengths and needs. Our bright and spacious classrooms offer children much space and time to explore the many art materials, manipulatives, sand, water, blocks, and much more!
We understand how important it is to keep parents well informed of their child's activities and progress. Our staff works very hard to make sure you always know what is going on in the classroom and at the school. Current families receive necessary medical and health forms through the mail or from the school in your child's book bag.
Second to our children, the staff at Weekday is one of our greatest gifts! Teachers at Weekday generally stay an average of 8 to 10 years. Combining this with Bachelor and Master's degrees in education and child development, our teachers understand preschoolers. Using a team approach, our teachers meet monthly to review curriculum and are supported by each other through sharing and caring.
