For over 50 years, Creative Early Learning Center Childcare & Pre School has helped children grow and develop through a world of discovery. We respect each child's individuality and strive to foster an atmosphere of caring and trust. Our childcare center is family owned and operated. All who attend our programs are made to feel welcome, at home, and part of our family.
We believe in developmental learning that is conducted at a pace that supports each child's individual needs and interests, offered in a safe and nurturing atmosphere. Our learning programs are structured with individual differences and developmentally appropriate practices in mind. We believe in hands-on learning incorporating some montessori school activities, with a focus on social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs.

Appointments are not necessary. We will show you the unique setting, interactive experiences, and nurturing care that your child will receive at Creative Early Learning Center.
In 1962, our founder, Jean Pedone, opened the doors of a co-op preschool program in a church in Garfield Heights, Ohio. She was a pioneer and avid storyteller, whose passion was working with and educating children. Jean started this preschool program with just a few students. Who could have imagined this program would blossom into three state-of-the-art Creative Early Learning Centers run by the same caring and loving family.
We understand that high quality learning is important to you and your family, and we know that your child's earliest experiences last a lifetime. This is why we take pride in maintaining a Step Up To Quality level for your family. Your child has 1,892 days from the day they are born until they enter kindergarten.

I had a great experience with Creative Early Learning Center - the teachers in the "Sweet Peas" (infants) room were so kind and knowledgeable. They were great at communicating with me and sent pictures of my son periodically, which I loved. I loved the brightwheel app which allowed me to see when he had bottles, naps, and diaper changes and to send and receive messages with his teachers.

When I visited the daycare unannounced I felt welcomed. The children were happy, energetic and engaged. I am currently in the infant group and I LOVE Ms. Angie! She knows each child and treats them with love while helping them develop. We started when my child didn't like strangers but she had no problems with Ms. Angie and the rest of the staff so I felt much better leaving my her. I receive updates AND pictures so I kind of feel like I'm right there with her! I have had a wonderful experience with the Garfield staff and am glad I was able to find them!🙂

Our daughter has been at Creative Early Learning center for over a year and never wants to miss a day! When she started off in the toddler group she barely communicated in English as her primary language was a different one at home. The teachers and staff at CELC have been very understanding and worked around her needs and interests. We are happy with her progress from being a 'little owl' to the 'busy bee' that she is now. The family events and activities are fun too!

The teachers at Creative have been amazing with both my children. As a working mom, it was stressful initially having to rely on others to care for my kids. However, they honestly couldn’t be in better hands. My infant (almost toddler) and new preschooler have made tremendous progress in all areas and are well cared for everyday. The communication with the teachers has been amazing on a daily basis. Most importantly, they are happy to be dropped off every single day.
