Needless to say, I have worked with many physical therapists; none of them comes close to the greatness of Rick Olderman. He genuinely cares about fixing your pain and helping you to better understand your body. He has an amazing ability to determine how your biomechanics and movement patterns cause pain and above all, knows how to give simple directions to fix the issue.
My experience has been great. I was back to 100% in about 3 months and was able to feel more confident in my shoulder than ever before. Body in Balance Physical Therapy is conveniently located in the Highlands area of Denver, CO. We specialize in the treatment of difficult chronic pain and sports injuries using a variety of rehabilitation services to help our patients achieve wellness.

Services
Our approach to fixing pain is based on Rick Olderman's pioneering work found in his best-selling Fixing You series of books available on Amazon (each new patient receives a FREE copy!). We have a reputation in Denver of helping people where other treatments have failed. This is due to our treatment of the body as a system rather than isolated parts.
How you move affects your pain. So we analyze and fix movement problems creating pain. For instance, if you have back pain, we look closely at your back, hips, knees and feet while you're walking, standing, sitting, bending, lying down etc. We pay special attention to those movements that are painful to understand what is wrong.
If you are suffering with any of the above-mentioned signs or symptoms in the neck, middle back, or lower back, chances are, our physical therapists can help. Our spine specialists start with an intensive examination and assessment of your condition. A treatment plan is then developed that is based on your specific needs.
If you are a youth, collegiate, elite, or professional athlete, when you are injured, you need a physical therapist with experience rehabilitating sports-related injuries. Athletes place higher demands on the muscles and joints and also require sport-specific training to recover speed, power, and agility.
Rick Olderman MSPT, CPT graduated with his Master's degree from The Krannert School of Physical Therapy at the University of Indianapolis in 1996. Rick has written the popular Fixing You www. If I was just rating my experience with my therapist and time I spent with her while I recovered from an ankle fracture I would give HER 5 stars. Unfortunately my experience with customer service, insurance and billing is why they are receiving 1 star. I would never recommend their services to anyone. Their communication and ability to work with insurance alone was worrisome. However the real disappointment was how rude their front desk lady was when I called with questions about my bill after insurance denied all their claims because they failed to get authorization from my insurance company in

Hands down the best physical therapy I've received. I've had a variety of injuries in the past and never felt I got much out of PT; however, at Body in Balance I was so impressed by the plan and treatment that Maggie Burns provided. After having surgery on my ankle earlier this year, Maggie was an expert at what exercises I should focus on to get back to running. She was both kind and knew when to push me, but I never felt I was outside of my limits. I highly recommend this place to anyone in Denver.

I have been to several PT clinics in Denver and this is my favorite. They are very safe. They communicate with your physician and recommend images to the MD as needed. They are so knowledgeable. They are careful about obtaining accurate information to create a treatment plan. Tess is great to work with and always adjusts my program to accommodate my progress.

Lara is truly an incredible physical therapist. She is very knowledgeable and always has a whole-body solution that produces real and lasting results. She has brought me more relief than any PT I've had. I'm so grateful to her! Also, she is a very kind, caring, and compassionate person with a great sense of humor! I can't speak of her highly enough. Cissy and the other front desk associates are very professional and friendly, and are very prompt in their responses. I'm delighted to have found Body in Balance!

I would highly recommend Body In Balance. My physical therapist, Tess, listened to my concerns and truly took her time in addressing them. Having been to other physical therapists in the past, this has been the only location that has helped me improved my condition. The other employees have always been friendly as well and helped provide for a great experience.
