I used Mackey Funeral Home for my relative's final arrangements. The facility was like being at home - comfortable and peaceful. There is plenty of parking and even a comfort dog named Chief that sat in with us during the arrangements. He is so cute and even wears a little suit! The directors Bob and Dan were easy to talk with and guided us with several options and plans.
When we arrived for the visiting, there was fresh coffee and light food, a perfect touch that the guests appreciated. Our family was extremely happy that we chose to use Mackeys in Middleton.

No one likes to think about making arrangements for the death of a loved one. And, especially when you are under duress. However, if you can somehow proactively put yourself into a certain mindset BEFORE the emotional loss occurs, please give Dan Mackey a chance to provide you with an exceptional experience. (Of course if you cannot proactively make arrangements he is there for you as well to help try to make the situation less stressful and an easy transition.)

I feel fortunate to have found Mackey Funeral Home to arrange a prepaid funeral for my mother. Director Dan Mackey is clearly an expert in his field and a standout among funeral directors. Dan is welcoming, approachable, and eager to tailor funeral plans to personal wishes. The building is beautiful and calming, and the grounds are pastoral.

My family was truly pleased and impressed with Mackey Funeral Home and the exceptional service we received from Dan Mackey (Funeral Director) and his staff. The funeral home itself was beautiful- not your traditional, run of the mill funeral home...it looked, smelled and felt like coming into one's home (I can't stand the overt smell of embalming chemicals in funeral homes! and it was sooo refreshing that this was not the case!). My mother would have been proud of the choice we made for her wake/service. They also took great care with my Mom in preparing her for her wake- she looked

Terrible experience here this past weekend. Very popular young man was laid to rest Saturday and as you could expect very large funeral possession. Here is where the funeral team dropped the ball. Going from church to cemetery there was no support from them. No one stopping traffic at the two sets of lights no one at entrance to cemetery to guide those who got separated from the prosession (approximately 50-60 vehicles) I myself along with the other 50 drivers missed the ceremony not professional at all. Without this bad ending to a long week they did a great job at the home but failed miserably
