As a child, I was heavily involved in the sport of gymnastics and spent several years training with the Olympic Coach, Bela Karolyi. I was a member of the United States Gymnastics Team and competed internationally in meets held in France and South Africa. Following my graduation from college in Reno, NV, I attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where I also earned my Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.
We are a dental office for children that offer cleanings, sealants, fillings, and early orthodontics. We take a unique, child-oriented approach to dental care. Our staff is kind and friendly and interested in helping children feel comfortable at our office. We emphasize the importance of having clean and healthy teeth to prevent tooth decay.
Getting an early start in regular dental care is an important step on the road to teaching your child healthy lifetime habits. We want to share with you the latest available methods for keeping your child healthy and safe. The first dental visit should occur shortly after the first tooth erupts and no later than the child's first birthday.
Appearance and self-image are very important to adolescents. Decayed or poorly positioned teeth or jaws might make them more self-conscious. Teens also eat frequently, and unhealthy snack foods tend to become a major part of their regular diet. We provide a professional, sensitive, and caring approach to restoring and guiding teeth, and teaching preventive dental health care through the teen's high school years.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children see an orthodontist at age seven. While your child's teeth may appear to be straight, there may actually be a problem that needs to be monitored or corrected. Not all children need to be treated at this time. Early treatment (known as Phase One) typically begins around age eight when a child still has many of their primary or "baby" teeth.

The staff are wonderful and Dr. Kim is fantastic and listens to every concern I have. I would not take them any where else.

She gave good care but everyone in the office treated me like a criminal because my son had a cavity. I was not allowed to go back to the exam room to witness any of my sons care. She gave my son gas when I told her not to and then wanted me to pay for it. The billing dept chronically got the amount that the insurance would pay wrong and always demanded more money. Miserable experience all around.
