Doctor Barinder Cheema grew up in Vancouver, Canada and there he had an uncle who was a dentist. It was my uncle who I saw changing smiles and building confidence in people while practicing dentistry. It became inspirational to see such big changes among people walking in with pain and out with a smile.
Dr. Dev is especially skilled in endodontics and the installation and repair of fixed dental appliances, such as crowns and bridges. His preferred use of digital technology for the preparation and installation of dental prosthetics helps him create comfortable and fully functional restorations for our many clients in Yuba City and Marysville.
Dr. Rajwant Bhatti was born and raised in Punjab, India. With much of her family she moved in 2016 to the beautiful Pacific Northwest, settling in Seattle. While in Washington, she studied dentistry at the University of Washington, graduating with a DDS degree. Dr. Bhatti brings the latest in dental techniques to the Yuba City Dentistry Group and is a prized addition to our team.
The Yuba City Dentistry Group welcomes hygienist Sabrina Dhillon to our practice. Sabrina hails from nearby Reno, Nevada and studied dental hygiene in San Jose, California at Carrington College. She joined our group because she feels that "Yuba City Dentistry is the model for teamwork and always putting patients' needs first."

Dr. Cheema is simply AMAZING! I could not list all of his qualities! I have ALWAYS been horrified going and having any dental work done, but Dr. Cheema is so professional and kind it makes the visit very comfortable.
He takes his time to explain everything and for me that makes me very comfortable.

This place is top notch. Clean, professional . Our family dentist for 15+ years retired. We were at a loss not knowing who to see from here on out . I did my research on reviews and found this place . I made an appointment for my 10 year old and myself to establish care (we also knew we needed some work done cavities etc.) We went to our appointment and I was blown away . The office is small but NOT UNDERSTAFFED , latest technology , the most efficient I have ever seen as everyone knew their job. Wonderful place. I would give it 10 stars if they had a 10 scale . I came to this office first time. I am very happy with the care I had received. Dr. Cheema was very professional, he took his time to explain the treatment that he was suggesting me to get. Answer questions very well. I had pain after the cleaning; called the office, and they called me back with all the answers I had and also Sabrina dental hygienist called me as well, which none of the dentist ever did it before in the past years. I definitely had a great experience and going back to complete the treatment. Thank You

Dr. Dev. I had never been to this office or dentist. However I made appt and was glad that I picked the right place! Office staff were so pleasant and so helpful. The Dentist explained everything in detail. Always asking if I understood or had any questions. I refer my neighbor to him and she also really like him. Great, professional people.

I've been going here for 2 1/2 years and I am very happy with the staff and Dr. Cheema. The office staff is very friendly and makes me feel very comfortable. Dr. Cheema is the most gentle dentist I've ever been to and I no longer have a fear of going to the dentist. They're professional and do excellent work!

Chipped my tooth Sunday evening for the very first time. I was warned that if I didn't repair it ASAP it would continue chipping & I would need a root canal. I have 2 babies & no time for extra procedures, so I called YC dentistry Monday morning. I used to go to Cordano/Spears dental but didn't like the unfriendly service provided so I haven't been to a dentist in almost a couple years. My husband switched to YC dental & likes it, so I decided to try there. They said they could get me in as early as Friday morning. Tuesday my husbands job was canceled & he was available

I'm pretty sure the dentist I saw was Dr Singh. Although he's super nice, I have no confidence or trust in him.
I feel like they overbook and are rushing around which causes poor dental services and waiting well past your appt to be seen. The staff scheduled my first appt wrong so I ultimately wasted an hour there. Had to reschedule and put a deposit down for my molar filling! That's a first! While there, I Overheard a woman in the next room telling him she didn't want to offend him but requested the other dentist to do her procedures instead. (I should have done the same

I had my first visit yesterday and had a wonderful experience. I was a little emotional due to some insecurities I have but the dentist immediately put my mind at ease. He has such a calming presence about him that I really needed at that time! Everyone I encountered was super friendly and helpful! From the front desk women, to the gentleman taking x rays, the dentist and the woman that went over billing with me. I am happy to have found a home dentist now!

I am terrified of going to the dentist, but my teeth were so bad I had no choice. From the moment I walked into the door they were wonderful and put me at ease. My dentist was amazing. He explained everything I need to know and answered all questions. He didn't make me feel rushed. I can't wait for all the treatments to start.

The lady at desk was very rude ( can't you read the sign said patient only) they told me to come early to fill stuff out and bow they say they have everything. If w8fe did not need tye emergency service. I also tripped outside do9r on the bench and skin my knee and my other leg when i fell. Could not go in and tell them that 8s hazard because i am not the patient and would not want to get yelled at again. Never go here again.

Dr. Cheema is an exceptional dentist. I was struggling financially and Dr. Cheema was so understanding and compassionate about that and allowed me to pay over time (a very long time lol)..I have always had an extreme fear of "going to the dentist " but Dr. Cheema always makes sure I am comfortable and is very patient. As far as his staff for me there are two that stand out, Shelby in the front she is amazing and Kelsi his hygienist, she really knows what she is doing and is super kind and very personable .. I am super grateful and lucky to have found such a great dentist!

First time there, and I was thoroughly happy with the whole experience! Loved the staff, the Dr is great...clean cozy atmosphere. SO glad I picked this place over all the others in town! As a bonus, we got a surprise when we were checking out after the visit!! (Don't want to ruin the surprise by saying what it was! ) Highly recommend. Before we even got to the appointment, there was a technical difficulty with the insurance, but the receptionist got it all straightened out. Whew! Lol. I don't foresee any future issues but if something drastic changes I will, of course, amend my review

Every time I've been in there they've tried to up-sell something. From "antibiotics for my teeth", now after 40 years I've started grinding my teeth, you name it. On a couple of occasions I got I bill for something I expected my insurance to cover.
The last straw was getting threatened with collections for a $29 bill that I've never seen before.
The good news - they'll give you a nominal gift card if you leave a positive Yelp review.

As a new patient, there are so many good reasons for wanting to like Yuba City Dentistry (YCD). However, dentistry was not one of those reasons.
THE GOOD:
The YCD building and equipment are clean and modern. That's a big plus, for me.
The reception staff is friendly and efficient.
They also thoughtfully provided a "new patient" parting gift, along with the usual goodie bag from the dentist.
