As a young boy growing up in Baltimore, MD, Dr. Michael Strickland knew animals were his passion. Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Dr. Ken Melberger wanted to become a veterinarian throughout his entire childhood. From a small town in Upstate NY, Dr. McCauley grew up reading the stories of James Herriot and, in a similar fashion, always found herself caring for various creatures both great and small.
