Services
Our Little Dragons program is for our youngest students & is fun, safe, and exciting. Students from 4 to 8 years of age can enjoy learning self-discipline & respect while also learning how to punch, kick and build a strong foundation for practical self-defense. Our high energy classes are full of fun drills and exercises designed for shorter attention spans and dragon level coordination.
The West Coast Santa Teresa Demo Team is a team of some of the most extraordinary XPT students. They perform high-intensity Martial Arts demonstrations all over the local area for school events, birthday parties, buddy days, and fairs. Their performances include acrobatic martial arts moves, highly choreographed group forms, creative open forms, and choreographed fight scenes.
A birthday party at West Coast Martial Arts is an awesome experience. You have the opportunity to invite all your friends and relatives to enjoy the party with you. After the games, we will serve pizza and juice, then you get to cut your cake with a real Samurai Sword! (We provide the fun and the pizza, you provide the cake.)
My family started with West Coast Santa Teresa with KJN Joe Soltis and KJN Samantha in 2005. They were so supportive on our road to our black belt degree encouraging kids and adults alike to never give up. They really work with you individually to make sure you are ready for the next level. It is not something I ever thought I would do as an adult but with their encouragement I am proud to say I am a black belt.

The Santa Teresa West Coast Martial Arts Studio is an amazing place. I've been taking classes there for almost a decade now and they are amazing. As long as you are diligent and stick with the classes, by the time you've reached brown belt you basically have developed a small family within the studio. All very accepting and respectful people and instructors. They teach so much more than martial arts there too! Students learn discipline and respect and are taught the value of family and friends! I highly recommend this association for anyone who is looking to get themselves or their kid(s) into

We first started with West Coast when my son was 5. He's now 27, and is still involved. KJN Joe, KJN Samantha, and all of the teachers are amazing. Their thorough knowledge and commitment to martial arts, combined with the constant encouragement they give, results in an energetic, positive and very successful system for both kids and adults. I personally started at age 53, and am still going strong (actually much stronger) at age 60. Whether you are taking the cardio classes, or martial arts classes - you quickly become a part of WCST. I have been going here since Dec and loving it. Great team, friendly teachers, clean facility. I am now coming up to my forth belt. And looking forward to the testing. Our kids have been training here for 5 years, and my husband joined them a little later. All 3 have earned their 1st degree black belts and are continuing to pursue their 2nd degree belts as well. Being a part of this studio has helped my husband and I teach our kids self confidence, discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and most importantly respect. It is a positive, nurturing family environment where the amazing instructors and members are always so friendly and encouraging. I can't say enough about Sandy's boot camp class. I have attended for several years and went from being a couch potato with knee problems to a 2-time ironman. In fact I've also done 6 half-ironmen and numerous century rides since training with Sandy. I've lost weight and feel terrific.I attribute a great deal of this success to Sandy's inspiration, coaching and encouragement. She is a consummate professional in terms of her skill in creating challenging workouts. But she combines those technical skills with a personal touch, where it is very clear to all of her students

This is an exceptional place. My son and I have been going to West Coast Martial Arts class for a little over a year. We are both at the blue belt one level. In addition to the excellent work out, the school helps cultivate a disciplined mind. It also fosters respect, control, and comradery. The instructors (Samantha, Patrick, Matthew, Alex, and Raquel) are first rate and helpful. KJN Joe Sotis - owner and lead instructor - is a real master and absolutely exceptional. We recommend West Coast Martial Arts most highly and without reservation.

My daughter has been going here for 7 years. She has a black belt and will get her 2nd degree black belt in a while.

My son has been going to Santa Teresa WC Martial Arts for a few months and he (and I) are very happy with the experience. Every teacher there is just amazing, they are so good and patient with the kids and create a safe environment. I feel my son is learning a lot, not just martial arts, but discipline, listening skills, respect, etc. I would recommend this studio to anyone.
