I fell in love with photography at the tender age of 10, taking photos of my Jindo pup Brownie on a tiny disposable camera. To this day, I'm so thankful to my dad for humoring the burgeoning photographer in me and faithfully processing all those dog photos week after week.
It's those images that take me right back to those sun dappled days, with the heat of the sun on my back, my eye pressed up to the view finder, just waiting for Brownie's next big yawn. These days, I no longer use a disposable camera, but you'll often find me on the floor with a treat in one hand and a camera in the other, bribing my 9 year old rescue pup Russell to take just "one more photo".

My doggo Ollie and I have had the pleasure of working with Joyce over several months for a "Watch Me Grow" series when Ollie was a smol pupper! This creative idea was all thanks to Joyce and she was able to capture some great moments in his puppy days!
Joyce was such a joy to work with. I have never done a photoshoot before, so I was not sure what to expect. I was mainly afraid my dog would misbehave and be frustrating to work with since he's a high energy pup. However, Joyce really put us as ease and made both of us comfortable. In fact, my dog is actually very reactive/barks at strangers, but

Let me just start by saying I am not a photogenic person. BUT! I wanted to take pictures with my 13-year-old dog/fur baby so I can remember him forever. I was feeling nervous, anxious, and insecure, but Joyce alleviated every negative sentiment.
First of all, she is extremely organized even before the photo shoot. My dog has some health issues so uneven terrain was a concern and Joyce adjusted the location of the shoot to accommodate his needs. Her location was breathtaking btw. She also sent detailed instructions with directions (including a map and parking) weeks prior to the shoot. She even
