American Karate Academy is a mixed martial arts (MMA) family oriented school that provides an enriched and diverse learning environment for our students. Our curriculum includes a combination of KARATE, TAEKWONDO, BOXING, MUAY THAI, KICKBOXING, BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU and REALISTIC SELF-DEFENSE TECHNIQUES.

As professional martial arts instructors, we take it very seriously when teaching your children. Our Little Dragons Program is specifically designed for children ages 4-6 yrs old.

My daughter attends MMA classes at AKA. I am constantly impressed by the professionalism of Mr. Garcia & his amazing staff. They take their responsibility to teach the discipline very seriously. And the classes go beyond the physical skills the students acquire. When they say “Knowledge in the Mind, Honestly in the Heart, & Strength in the Body”, they mean it & focus on honing all those elements. My daughter loves the classes so much that she decided to have her birthday party there. I thought it would be cool beforehand, but the reality exceeded all of my expectations. As with their classes

Fantastic karate school. My son absolutely loves this school. Sensei and his staff are great. My child has really flourished and grown in the past 7 months. He works hard to learn the exercises and the moves. I have to say one of my favorite things about this school is that my child has to show hard work, understanding and effort to progress and receive his next belt. No participation trophies here; only hard work and practice. I also appreciate the covid precautions in place, especially since social distancing is hard under these circumstances. Can't wait to see my kiddo continue to grow

My son has been part of American Karate Academy for about 6 months now and we love it. Mr. Garcia is very knowledgeable, dedicated, loves his students and is great at what he does. Staff are friendly and great too. Place is always spotless as well. If you're looking for a Karate school look no more, this school is awesome. I highly recommend it!

What an amazing place. I have two kids in this program. The owners are truly dedicated to accelerating our children’s performance physically, emotionally and personal. They truly care about the kids. This is not just a business for them. This school teaches Discipline and athletics and the best thing is that they actually go to tournaments and compete. They ask the kids for report cards and celebrate their wins. The place is super extra clean.I Love this place.

My son has been going to AKA for almost 2 years and we love them! Mr Garcia is excellent at teaching kids, encouraging them and pushing them to be the best they can be. My kid gained a lot of confidence and the mixed martial arts philosophy helps build character. He also has made good friends through it!

My son started going to this academy about a week ago. Master Garcia as well as the rest of the personnel is very knowledgeable and friendly. My son is learning quickly and enjoys every single class. They teach children about confidence, respect, defense techniques, and so much more. The prices are very affordable, and what you get in return is priceless indeed. This is a magnificent place for children and adults alike. The owners are truly marvelous and kind hearted people and also expert martial artists. My 5 year old daughter is loving every class and it's all she talks about. We are in love with this place. Great family environment and good mix of skill and discipline with fun and allowing kids to be kids. Don't look any further. Amazing Karate Academy! After 6 months of both my children attending a nearby karate academy I pulled them out and enrolled them in AKA. I cannot express how happy I am with that decision. My children went from crying and not wanting to go to class at the previous school to feeling excited and looking forward to karate.
