I love Cavanaughs! whether I’m in Philly or Delaware my god the food is always fresh and delicious ! The chicken Cesar salad is so good an the chicken is so juice an tender! I loved when they would give out free mask during the pandemic that literally was my favorite part about getting lunch ! Can’t wait to redeem my coupon !

An institution in Downtown Wilmington. Classic comfort food of sandwich's, burgers, salads and more. Great place for lunch during the week, not open evenings or weekends.

Great lunches and the new Thursday dinner takeout is awesome. My favorite is the grilled chicken ceasar. Each week are new menu items and the desserts are great

You talk about a hidden gem.....this place should probably change the name to such. They have such exotic combinations, new specials everyday, and their soups are excellent. In fact, I HIGHLY suggest you ordering one to go for later. The owner walks around checking on the customers. It's just a great atmosphere!

Cavanaugh's is walking distance to my office and I have been eating lunch there for many years. I have never had a bad meal! Every day they have a handful of really good, creative, specials from which to choose. I have had most of their salads and all are really tasty and fresh. The crab and avacado salad is one of my favorites. The roasted red pepepr soup is one of my staples during the cooler months. Sandwiches are always very tasty. And, if you're lucky, they will have the chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting...fluffy and delicious! Staff is friendly and checks on you during your meal

I almost never write reviews for restaurants, but needed to share the wonderful experience I had at this gem of a restaurant. The restaurant is housed in a beautifully decorated building that used to be a chocolatier. The service was warm and accommodating, and made us laugh throughout our meal. We ordered the executive cheesesteak at the recommendation of our lovely server Amy. Omg was it delicious... and thats saying alot since I'm from Philly. The chicken ceaser salad with creamy homemade dressing was amazing. I strongly recommend Cavanaughs for anyone living in, or just stopping through Wilmington

Always a pleasure when I come into Cavanaugh's. I recently stopped in for lunch with my coworkers and had the scallops with pesto risotto and it was absolutely amazing. My go to is the crab and avocado salad which always amazing. They are always consistent, quick, and have amazing specials. The owner and his staff are spot on with the service every time. They cater most of our trials and do a fabulous job all the time

I've been here four times with large groups from work, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is great and the menu has something for everyone. Our server was gracious and patient despite having to do so many separate checks during a busy lunch hour. I highly recommend Cavanaugh's.

Nice place, beautiful ceilings relaxed atmosphere. I was welcomed in by a smiling guy and service was spotless. I had delicious potatoes skins there's a menu for lunch specials and other items are burgers and salads. I think it's indeed open only for lunch, really worthy of a visit! :)
