Services
At Critter Fixer Veterinary Hospital we understand that pet health issues don't always occur during business hours. That's why we are dedicated to bringing you the best 24 hour emergency care possible. We have an on-call veterinarian 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Just call our office at 478-988-0883 and our staff will be able to help you and your pet.
1 out of 3 pets will get lost at some point in their lifetime. Without identification, 90% will not return home. The HomeAgain Microchip is a safe, non-migrating microchip with an unalterable 10 digit code which lasts the entire life of your pet. The chip is approximately the size of a grain of rice and is injected between your pet's shoulder blades.
In order to obtain a license for your pet, you may need a current Rabies certificate. Other vaccines are strongly recommended for the protection and health of your pet as well as other animals they may come in contact with, i.e. grooming and boarding facilities, dog parks, etc. Puppies and kittens receive important nutrients and antibodies from their mothers' milk while they are nursing.
Periodontal disease is the most common disease in dogs and cats and the importance of dental health is often overlooked by pet owners. More than 85% of dogs and cats over four years of age suffer from periodontal disease. Bad breath is usually the first sign of this condition. The same bacterium that causes bad breath, if left untreated, can spread through the blood stream and damage the kidneys, heart, and other organs.
A Junior Wellness Panel is advised for regular health monitoring of all pets less than 6 years of age. Junior Wellness testing allows our doctors to detect problems before becoming a major concern or greater threat to your pet's health. Junior Wellness also establishes baselines that are important in monitoring your pet's health trends.

I have had dogs all my and life and I will say Critter Fixer vets and their staff are outstanding ! I just had my red bone coonhound spayed there and everyone there treats you like family. I am definitely a client for life and my 3 dogs. Thank you for your professionalism and kindness. Also, they are fairly priced.

First i would like to say the doctors are very personable and knowledgable. My issue is the cost! I called to get my dog in who hurt his leg running. Front desk told me they had no openings but could "fit" him in on an "emergency" basis for $90. I do not mind paying up for something but wouldn't an "emergency" visit and fee constitute front of the line? If i get fit in or a same day appointment at my doctor I do not pay an increased fee. Trying to accommodate people/pets is admirable but charging up for it is not right.

I called around several vet offices to see which place would be the best fit for my German Sheppard. Critter Fixers quoted me $169 for all of his shots plus the office visit. The price was comparable to other places and I have heard very good things about this business so I made the appointment. Firstly, my dog has bad anxiety when he is in a new… environment. He cries and paces around a lot. Not once did I see the vet or any other employees pet him, talk to him, give him treats, or anything that would help him be more comfortable. My dog nudged his head against Dr. O (for attention) and

My dog/baby Georgia was hit by a car and they were extremely prompt at working us in. They were very informative throughout the process. Georgia had to undergo surgery and they had to keep her overnight. I am more than pleased with service I received from the Vet, techs and even the front ofc staff! I would highly recommend to everyone. 5 STARS to the best veterinarian ofc in the middle GA area.
