Hawaii family portrait and lifestyle photography on the Big Island is a wonderful way to capture family vacations, special moments and celebrate the meaning of 'Ohana'. We go on vacation with my wife’s family every other year, a group of 12 to 14 and we hire a professional photographer to do group photos. Generally I am not very impressed with our photographers because of a lack of training, professionalism or genuine interest in their subject. Mark however, exceeds all expectations. He was communicative, straightforward, punctual and very reasonable with pricing ( especially with how he makes photos available after the shoot). But even more than that, he took a genuine interest

One of the BEST things I did for our "Once in a life time trip to Hawaii" was to have Mark capture it on film!! The photos turned out beautifully !
Mark took photos of our family at Old Kona Airport Beach. He is so professional and is so talented!
He was absolutely wonderful with my husband who despises getting his photo done and never smiles in them(never except our wedding photo 23 years ago. lol)
Mark was able to connect with him, make him relaxed and actually have a fun time during our 60 min sunset session.
Mark came prepared with equipment and he obviously knew the landscape extremely

Mark is a spectacular photographer! What can I say about this amazing, kind, professional man?? Mark took magnificent pictures of my family. I interviewed a lot of photographers in Kona and found that he had reasonable prices, great ideas, and was super accommodating. Mark delivered exactly as promised and was very easy going. We visited the Big Island this June and we’re lucky enough to book Mark to shoot family photos . Mark had excellent communication prior to our shoot and asked many questions that helped to personalize our experience.He suggested multiple locations for us to choose from . During our shoot Mark was professional, down to earth, great with the kids and made the home experience so positive. He even spotted a turtle in the water near us lol. We hired Mark for a family photo shoot during our vacation on the Big Island. He was responsive to e-mails and easy to schedule with. He was fun, upbeat and was tolerant of and patient with our two toddlers. We had a great experience, have some great family portraits and would definitely recommend!

My fiancé and I had an existing trip planned to Hawaii, and about 3 weeks before the trip we had an idea to get our engagement photos done while we were out there. Mark was quick to respond to our last minute inquiry and was a pleasure to work with! Truly an awesome person and talented photographer. Great photos, great photographer! We had Mark do a 1st birthday/family photo session on our trip to the Big Island. There were 4 adults and 2 babies - a one year old and 8 month old. He was so friendly and easy to work with. He was very helpful in arranging our location (we were visiting from Michigan). The week before he sent me a whole list of tips to help us prepare so we would have the best outcome for our photos . The whole session he was so easy to chat with, gave simple directions and was AMAZING with our kids. He had them smiling and happy the whole time! Our pictures turned out wonderful

My husband and I live on Oahu. We took a long weekend trip to Kona back in February for Valentine's Day. We decided the week prior to our trip that we wanted to try to get engagement photos done while we were there. Lucky for us, Mark was available! He gave us multiple options for the location and we picked Kukio Beach. Mark was very friendly and easy to work with. We had sunset photos done and the results were AMAZING. My husband and I had never taken professional photos together and we were worried that we would be awkward. Mark made us very comfortable and we now have the most beautiful album
