Services
We provide preventive dentistry, sealants, digital radiography, restorative dentistry, sedation, nitrous oxide, general anesthesia, and space maintenance for infants, toddlers, children, teens, and those with special needs. SDF is a clear antimicrobial liquid that is painlessly "painted" on the cavities.
The sooner the better. A baby's gums should be cleaned with a soft cloth and water. By the time the first tooth comes in, you can start brushing the teeth and gums with a soft toothbrush twice a day. Most babies start to get their lower central incisors between 5 and 7 months of age, but the range varies widely.

My daughter has always been so scared of any dental or doctor visits. This office really surprised me they had so much patience for my daughter the assistant really took her time and tried anything to make her feel comfortable and the doctor was so nice and patient with her. I highly recommend them! I will stick with them for a long time.

Dr. Shahram Ghafghazi is the best pediatric dentist you would want for your child. He is so kind and patient which puts the kids at ease. We are grateful to have found him. Everyone at this office is welcoming and friendly. Elizabeth the office manager is the absolute best at what she does. I’m grateful knowing I can bring my child to a place where she will receive great care.

Highly recommend Burien Children’s Dentistry. Our first dentist experience with our 3 year old, could not have gone any better. All day afterwards she was excited to use her new “tooth gear”, new brush, floss and paste. The staff from start to finish was professional, quick and extremely down to earth. We enjoyed a very relaxing and fun experience.

I just had to move to a new dentistry due to my age (17) and I MISS THIS PLACE SO MUCH! I absolutely hated the dentist when I was younger and then when I started going here I realized that I actually loved the dentist, I just never had had a good one! From the adorable dinos on the walls to kind staff, I always had a great and thorough experience at this dentistry and am really grateful for their amazing care.

Had a terrible experience here with my special needs son. They refused him treatment and insisted he needed to be sedated at UW to fix a broken front tooth. Then had a nightmare of a time getting them to send his referral. Another dentist fixed him up good as new without any medication or sedation. All he needed was a little patience and kindness. Something they do not provide at Burien Children's Dentistry!
