Where do you even begin when your entire time renting with this company has been a nightmare from the beginning. We will give them one star and that's being generous. My husband and I have rented 4 plus years through BRE. we have always paid our rent on time, put in tickets when things needed to be fixed. The only issue that was ever addressed was the AC unit. All the other structural issues, such as shingles falling off, water damage, rotting wood, fence falling down etc, was never addressed. Management was decent while we owned the property. However, the service since our last tenant moved out and we sold our property was abysmal. The tenant did not clean the property and they sent in a cleaning service to clean the property. I was charged $452.08 for a full interior cleaning.
When I arrived to do repairs in preparation to list the home for sale about one week after the "cleaning," I had to remove dirt caked from the corners of every room, vomit from the wall and carpet in multiple corners of one room, bodily fluids off the walls in another room as well as wipe down all the fixtures

This management company doesn't put its tenants first and if you have an after hour emergency you'll be paying out of your own pocket as there is no emergency line. If you call the mainline no one picks up. I had an issue with the toilet not working right, and when I called the office they didn't pick up causing me to call the 24 hour plumber. Atleast they reimbursed the price from the next rent which was helpful.

Worst property management company in Fayetteville. I can’t stress how much they truly do not care about doing a good job or doing what is right. I don’t live in the area so I have a property manager to make sure my home is taken care of. A tree hit my home in July but they didn’t report it until October. This is one of the many failures of leadership and communication you can expect from Boxwell.

Was approved for a house and told them I would bring in the security deposit, just to get there and be told that the property was given to someone else. Why approve multiple people at once for one house and try to do it on a first-come-first-serve strategy. I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but this time I needed to this time. Y’all don’t know what people have going on, and stuff like this can cause a huge problem.

I would like to give zero stars but fairly I'll give one star as the property manager herself wasn't completely terrible. Boxwell took over managing the house we were renting about 6 months before we moved out. When it came time to move out, the property manager was super quick to get our paperwork done and all that, obviously so they could get us out quicker. We are military so we had to be on our way across the country by a certain day. The final day we were there I SCOURED that house clean, literally up until I closed and locked the door. I did a final walk thru video for my own purposes as

I had an apartment at dairy drive for a year. Ill start off with the good. They let me pay my rent at the end of the month instead of the first so i could afford it. They eventually replaced some windows (break in), two doors, stove and fridge. They temperarily fixed the sewage problem. Now ill move on go the bad things. There were multiple problems with the apartment that showed itself the longer we stayed. It was a refurnished apartment. After dealing with the terrible previous management company, Resisdential, I'm happy to say boxwell has been a wonderful improvement of quality. It is clearly apparent that they as a company take great pride in their work, demonstrating the compassion of someone who cares and the responsibility of a highly professional business. Throughout, both the transition as they took over as well as the guided support in aiding current tenants in understanding expectations they have proven to be a highly reputable property management company. We just recently moved out due to a better financial opportunity. Upon leaving we were told by one of the property managers at boxwell realty that upon moving out we would receive pictures via email which would be the same pictures sent to the owner during the exit inspection of the home.
