Dr. Keith's first experience in animal care came at the ripe age of 10. When one of his father's beagles developed an eye infection, young Dr. Keith was given the responsibility of administering the local veterinarian's treatment. At that moment, he discovered how satisfying it was to help an animal that couldn't care for itself!

Not to sure about the negative reviews but we just moved here and Dr. Keith and Cassandra are amazing. My pit bull has gone to multiple vets over 3 years and nobody had ever given him ANYTHING that worked for his ear infections, he’s been on multiple antibiotics and nothing helped. Moved to Savannah and decided to try them out because of their new client first visit discount and after a few days on this new antibiotic and antibiotic drops his ear looks amazing and isn’t swollen at all. It’s like I have a puppy sgain he’s got so much energy now. Thank you Westside ❤️ Turner definitely

I recently moved to Savannah and they had a special for new comers which was ideal for me and Sweetie Pie. I loved that the visit was in person with your pet and the Dr. Purcell was very loving and helpful with the needs for Sweetie Pie my Cairn Terrier mix. The staff was helpful with all my questions too. Thank you for welcoming us to Savannah! I highly recommend the Westside Animal Hospital.

I just recently relocated into the area and called a few places about wellness exams and boarding. I came across this animal hospital and thankful I did. The staff is extremely informative and friendly. The vet was very welcoming and made sure to answer all my questions and gave my dog affordable care. The boarding is probably the best rate in the area. I would only trust to leave my pets overnight at a vet. Highly recommend this office in you live in the area.

This place is completely awesome!!! Our Izzy was sick and they helped us get through it...after we had to euthanize her we had her privately cremated and it was truly a sad time...they sent us an awesome keepsake to always remember her by...She will always be in our hearts. Thank you Westside!!!!! You guys are the best!!!!

Friendly, efficient staff! My Fur Baby was in good hands with the Westside staff. COVID restrictions prevented me from going in to the office for the appointment, but I'm glad the staff is taking this seriously. I almost took one star off because, unfortunately, new patients aren't seen on weekends. A minor inconvenience, though, because they made up for it by making the stool sample so easy to return.

We recently moved from Hawaii, and I brought our two chihuahuas for their shots and yearly exam. The office is small, but that didn't really matter to us at all. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and Dr. Purcell was knowledgeable and kind. We will definitely be using them for all of our dog care needs.

We were amazed at the professionalism and compassion they had when we brought our 5lb dog Luna in for an emergency visit! We were on vacation from MA and over 1000 miles away from home. Our dog was so sick she wouldn't eat or move for several days.
First, the vet and assistants took plenty of time to tell us what they thought was going on. They were very insistent, but not demanding that Luna stay overnight. I thought "here we go, this is going to break the bank". I was wrong, and since we were on a long trip, they could have taken advantage.
