Dr Faris highly recommended a knee surgery that is not recommended for dogs larger than 30 pounds. At the time we didn't know much about this surgery. 3 months later my dog started having problems with her left knee again. Dr Faris advised us nothing was wrong with her knee. So taking her to a specialist. He advised us the surgery Dr Faris preformed never should of been suggested for dogs over 30 pounds and need to have a TPLO surgery. Dr Faris refuses to refund my money back and now her right knee needs surgery. Dr. Faris highly recommended this surgery because it is the only one he could

Thank you Dr. Claytor and staff for taking such great care of our Chloe. She had her first laser treatment today and is all ready moving better than she did when she woke up. We can't thank you all enough for recommending the laser treatment and for taking such good care of our senior lady. We look forward to taking her on longer walks and car rides with out pain.

Took my 8 week toy poodle to see Dr. Ferris! He along with Nurse Richardson (I believe that was her name) made my first vet experience amazing. I felt relieved and at ease with the amount of knowledge I received. My puppy felt very comfortable! Amazing staff and facility. So excited for my puppy to grow with the Port City family!

This review is over a year overdue, but I couldn't leave it without actually living in the local area, but now I do and here's my review.
Dr. Faris is hands down the best vet that I've ever been to. So much so, I almost wish he was my PCM because of the care and compassion that he shows, not only to the pet, but the pet owner as well. Each and every pet he sees, he takes a personal interest in. His love for his job and the animals literally makes you feel like he is your pet's co-owner.
While he may not always be the cheapest option around, he is by far the best option
