Services
Dr. Hiers has lived and worked in the Pooler area for the past 14 years. She was born and raised in Indiana. She earned her Bachelor's degree at the University of South Carolina in 1997. She then attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2003. She has special interest in internal medicine, skin and allergy issues, and special care for senior pets.
We recommend thorough physical exams on all animals every 6 months. Examinations by your veterinarian can help diagnose issues early that can affect our pets. With early diagnosis, can come early treatment and better quality of life for your pet. We also discuss the importance of monthly heartworm prevention, flea and tick control, and other parasite control.

This animal hospital is always quick, kind, and efficient.
I recently went there for the second year in a row for my 9-yo cat’s annual. They have a great package deal & even do military discount for active duty service members.
I couldn’t find my cat carrier and they brought out a cute card board one for me that resembled a build-a-bear box.
They really do great work and care about people, but most importantly care about pets!

Recently my cat of many years became very sick and had to be put down. Dr. Hiers and her staff were so compassionate and helpful to my wife and I through the entire process. They have been very available to us and we will always be so grateful. We will continue to take our other kitties to them for their health needs.

Cannot recommend Dr. Hiers, Heather and Lindsay enough! They have been absolutely wonderful with all of the health issues our 8 month old puppy has had. Their compassion and dedication truly make all the difference, and they treat the pets in their care like their own. Thank you so much for everything you all do!

Very nice animal lovers up in here. We found a stray kitty who was in bad shape, and lickity split they got her in and administered the goods. She is now healthy and a member of the family. We are recent Eastside transplants so we have moved all of our furry family over this facility. They are so good I'm thinking of seeing if they can do my children too.

Dr. Hiers and her staff are AMAZING! We were recommended by a good friend and I am so thankful. We have a new puppy, and an older dog. The pricing seems reasonable, and the care they give is amazing. Today I was surprised by a call from Dr. Heirs herself to let me know our older dogs labs had come back and they are all good.
