Teledentistry is the use of electronic information, imaging, and communication technologies, including interactive audio, and video to provide and support a virtual consultation. Teledentistry is a way to provide care for an individual who may not be able to make a in person appointment at this time.
Dr. Lindman is a native of Rockford. His undergraduate education was undertaken at North Park College in Chicago, with a double major in natural science and art. Dr. Lindman received his professional degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
His graduate training in periodontics was completed at Northwestern University College of Dentistry, where he received a Certificate Degree in Periodontics and a Master of Science degree.While at Northwestern, Dr. Lindman was actively involved in clinical research studying different pain control and sedation techniques in periodontics.

The Brynwood office, Periodontics of Rockford, had three treatment rooms, two staff members, and long lunches between patients. For the first few years, Dr. Lindman worked with a number of Chicago area dental groups while building the Rockford practice. After 10 years of steady growth, the Brynwood office was becoming a bit cramped for staff and patients alike.

I can't say enough good things about this place! I completely understand why this place has 5 stars! My husband had a horrible toothache and couldn't get into our regular dentist. We were able to get in same day here only to find out with our insurance we would have to pay in full and be reimbursed. We did not have all of the money upfront to pay for it but they worked with us and made a way for him to get out of pain and have his tooth extracted! My husband who is a big strong guy was almost in tears from the pain and they were willing to help us despite our $$ situation! We are forever grateful

SERIOUS WARNING: The five star reviews are bought, they're not real. I'm 52 yrs old with Delta Dental's best plan. I never in my life sat on the curb outside a doctor or dentist office and wept, crying in pain and frustration. NEVER trust Featherstone to care, NEVER. I set an appointment for a tooth extraction for debilitating pain, and when I tried to use my Flex card there wasn't enough money on the card (you'd think they'd check ahead, but no). I recently had to have my wisdom tooth removed. I was absolutely petrified to have any type of dental surgery. The front staff was so comforting and assured me that I was in great hands. Beckii and Dr. Lindman were phenomenal! They made sure that I was 100% comfortable. The procedure was so quick, I could not believe it. Susan contacted me that evening to check to see how I was doing after the surgery. I would highly recommend this office!

So happy to finally be able to return to Featherstone Periodontics after a COVID hiatus. I have been a patient for over ten years and am very thankful that my periodontal disease has been well controlled by semi annual visits. I have been seen by the same dental hygienist for most of those years, Juanita. First of all, a big thank you to her and best wishes for a long and happy retirement! I cannot thank Dr. Lindman and his staff enough for helping me. I came in with severe gum issues and never thought I would be able to fix them. They helped me save my teeth and today was my 3rd follow-up appointment. Hearing how much the surgery improved my gums made me so happy. I cannot recommend them enough.

I had an emergency extraction at Featherstone Periodontics and had such a wonderful first experience. Chelsea was incredibly helpful in getting me in the same day and made the whole process incredibly smooth. Becky was amazing and so accommodating with scheduling all of my follow-up appointments as well. Dr. Lindman was incredibly informative with everything that would take place during my procedure as well as what the follow-up would look like. The staff is so professional, polite, and welcoming. I look forward to having more procedures done in the future.
