My partner and I moved into Elton Park Corktown last month and could not be more pleased with how incredible the leasing staff is!!! We were looking to experience city living after years of living in the burbs. Mark Chatman was AMAZING helping us every step of the way! Our first visit to the community to view available units was so inviting that we immediately knew that this was the place we wanted to live!! Thé best place in Detroit. The office staff is fantastic. Mark Chatman was so helpful and pleasant to chat with, gave me the best directions to location and eateries around area. The location is great, apartments are new and spacious. I am a travel nurse and I was so happy Mark made me feel at home, Thank You.

I recently moved to Elton Park and have been very pleased with my experience. The property is very clean and well maintained. I love how easy it was to talk to Janet and Mark were throughout move in process, I never felt pressured at all. You can really tell how much Mark loves his work, he was so enthusiastic and attentive. He showed us many apartments and even called me as soon as he found out that the unit I eventually leased was becoming available because he knew that it was perfect for me! He really went the extra mile! The leasing and management staff always kept in communication with me

The new management really has some kinks to work out, but I'm not going to spend time on that as other reviews already have. Ultimately the reason for my positive review is all due to Janet, the Residential Manager. She is one of the kindest, most caring, and responsive resident managers I have ever met. Janet handled any and all of my requests with such consideration. She also creates a living environment where people can socialize and get to know one another (when there isn't a pandemic). If you chose to live at Elton Park, Janet will totally take care of you.

The apartment switched management companies and charged me twice for the month of April (over drafting my account) and they have been ignoring my request to return the payment.
Overall, the apartments were cheaply put together and not worth the price of rent.
Would not recommend:
-no recycling
-trash room is always overflowing
-mail room is chaos
-difficult to get packages delivered
-paid for a parking spot ($175 monthly) and regularly couldn't park there due to miscommunication or another resident parking where they shouldn't
-impossible to get ahold of building manager
-no charging stations
