Even though most of our patients are dogs and cats, we are comfortable treating a wide variety of less traditional pets. We routinely receive exotic animal referrals from many local clinics. Dr. Linda K. Mulski, V.M.D. graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989. She had previously completed a combined Bachelor's and Master's degree in Animal Science at the University of Connecticut as a University Scholar.

Whenever our clinic is open, we have an experienced exotic animal veterinarian available for your pet's care. We routinely take laboratory samples, administer intravenous fluids/medications, perform surgery on and anesthetize our clients' unusual pets. Minimizing patient stress is our priority. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I have Guinea pigs and it’s hard to find a vet office that is experienced and very informative on exotic animals. I had to put down my Guinea pig today and

I brought my rabbit in this morning after he choked and gagged while eating to follow up and see if there was an underlying cause or any damage done. This was my first time here since the vet I normally take my rabbits to wasn’t in the office today and when I called they said my rabbit should really be seen by a rabbit specialist as an emergency… and recommended AHSG among a few others. Please don’t waste your time thinking they are experienced exotic vets. Drove over an hour hoping they were but sadly like all the vets in this area they are not. Sat in the baking car for over an hour to leave feeling robbed and given outdated information from the 90’s on a google print out. Still not sure what I paid for on the “exotic exam” my snakes weight wasn’t even listed. Nothing was just the nice price tag for the wasted time I’ll never get back. Not sure why it would take over an hour to look at a snake if you weren’t going to actively prescribe anything for that day? I

We needed medical care for our Parrots in 2010, the Animal Hospital of South Gorham was highly recommend.. Although it's a long drive we felt safe with the care and attention they gave our birds and now we bring our baby Akita who also has medical needs to this Hospital, This Hospital is Very caring, user-friendly and provides the best practice for the medical wellness for your pets.. Staff is friendly and great with the animals as well as their stressed out mommas.. We have been bringing our loved ones here for 9 years.This is by far the greatest place to bring your beloved animals. I appreciate all vets and what they do. But the Animal Hospital of South Gorham are truly angels on earth. From their vet techs to the doctors they are incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable and caring. They take the time to really explain everything and always take into consideration that each patient is dearly loved. I would never bring my furry loved ones anywhere else.

During this crazy time I had called 5 vets in one day that were all booked up and refused to take any new appointments even though my buns were not well and after calling Animal hospital of SG I was able to get… an emergency appointment the same day for my bunnies and their babies and get the care they needed even though they were also booked for the day! So glad I found this place!

They got me in the same day I called. It was a late appointment due to work but they never rushed me and stayed past when they usually close to make sure my rabbit was taken care of. My distance from them was taken into consideration when we discussed treatment options as well. And on top of it they were all friendly and helpful, I am so impressed! Thank you!
