Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is performed to repair damage caused by decay, to alter the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for other cosmetic purposes. Crowns and bridges are used to restore and enhance teeth that are damaged or to take the place of missing teeth.

A crown (also referred to as a cap) is used to entirely cover a damaged tooth. Dental crowns are natural-looking, tooth shaped caps that are placed over a tooth to restore its shape, size, strength and appearance. A dental implant is an ideal tooth restoration for people who are missing one or more teeth as a result of injury, periodontal disease, or any other reason.
Services
I love my profession because I like people. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to help patients of all ages achieve healthy, esthetically pleasing smiles that improve their self-image and increase their self-confidence. We are very good listeners and we are always respectful of our patients wishes.
Bonding is a popular treatment option because it provides a successful attachment between the filling material and the tooth's original enamel and dentin. It looks like the original tooth and functions like it as well. Direct composite bonding is used to recreate a smile in an additive manner, where little or no tooth reduction is needed.
Like dental implants, dental bridges are used to replace a missing tooth, except bridges are supported by natural teeth on either side of the missing tooth. A dental bridge will improve your ability to chew and speak as well as your smile. In a recent study published in the Journal of the American Dental Association, dental bridges were shown to dramatically reduce the risk of losing teeth that are adjacent to a missing tooth.
Dental Implants are the single most important advancement in dentistry in decades. Whether you need to replace a single tooth or multiple teeth, a bridge or partial denture, dental implants are the way to go- they are longer lasting and more comfortable. Implants provide an additional benefit as compared to bridgework as they do not rely on neighboring teeth for structural support and they cannot get cavities.
What is a Filling? A filling is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. When a dentist gives you a filling, he or she first removes the decayed tooth material, cleans the affected area, and then fills the cleaned out cavity with a filling material. By closing off spaces where bacteria can enter, a filling also helps prevent further decay.
