Keep your dog or puppy happy and healthy with regular check-ups, vaccinations and grooming services. I have been taking my pets there for about 30 years.
The service is always excellent and the doctors and staff are always friendly and compassionate. I highly recommend them. I came to this office since my regular vet was on vacation and the Dr. was really great with my cat. He took time to pet him and comfort him before he checked him out and I personally never saw my cat so calm at the vets office.

Today I had to do one of the hardest things that face pet parents, making the decision to depart from your family. My friend Beans was sick...as a new client you don't know what to expect, what I experienced was beyond my expectations from a new vet dealing with a new client. The Doctor was kind, compassionate and showed loved toward my friend, my family, and that meant everything to me. Saying goodbye is never easy, but having to say goodbye surrounded by a staff that cares, well you've earned my buisness and respect. I can whole heatedly recommend this vet for your family members. They care.

Very good business! It was my first time going to this vet for my new puppy. She was having some minor issue with her fecal matter.
I arrived at 8:35 and signed a clip board. FYI for new customers, you have to arrive before 9:00 AM and check in. For sickness, if you are desperately need to be seen, preferably check in at 8:00 because there was already 9 people ahead of me at 8:35.
This place is mainly walk-in/first come first serve. If you have a dire emergency, it would be better off to see an ER. They stop taking clients 1/2 an hour before closing.
Overall experience was great! We left at

Everyone was so kind and caring. My Lacie absolutely was relaxed and comfortable and her Dr. treated her like she was important and talked to her while examining her. Plus they didn't just guess they actually took the time to figure out what was wrong and she's almost healed up in less than a month. Over here other vet who kept guessing.

I've been going to this vet since my dog was a puppy. We moved to Lockport and still would go back. we had to put my dog down today after 12 years. He was in pain and couldn't go to the bathroom and they couldn't squeeze him in to have him put to rest easy. They said, sorry wait until Monday. Very disappointing when you have a relationship for that long and then it ends like that. Needless to say, we won't be going back with our other pup.

Oak Lawn Animal Hospital is the best!! They are always there when you need them and they take such great care of your pets. We even adopted a kitten when we were there last. I just want to say thank you for taking care of Fuz the way that you do and for bringing Libby into our lives. You guys are the best! Thank you so much for everything.

Great caring compassionate people !
Darlene spent the time with me on multiple phone calls to answer my questions & ally my fears !
I had to place my 16 yo cat under the care of Dr.Ken and Michelle for some dentistry . ( teeth cleaning and a tooth extraction ). Michelle was great ! She phoned me with Chloe's pre procedure lab results & phoned me again to ask my permission for Dr. Ken to excise a " growth " they found back by her lower molar. Michelle phoned me a 3rd time to let me know Chloe tolerated both anesthesia ,the dental work well and she was recovering.

This vet is amazing. After not being happy with a veterinarian that is literally across the street from us, I followed my mother's advice and went to Oak Lawn Animal Hospital. Three years ago my sister found a kitten. I couldn't say no, and to get his shots and neutered we brought him here. They were amazing and treated him wonderfully. A couple years later, our eldest cat started having problems. He was losing weight, not eating much, and urinating a lot. We knew he had kidney disease, and blood tests confirmed he was getting worse. Our vet did not beat around the bush in telling us
