Services
The business was established in 1852 (in the present building) by the Dathan family, who operated it for many years. In 1944 Emmett became the sole owner of Moll Furniture and Undertaking Company. After serving in WW II and graduating from Mortuary College, Emmett's son, Daniel joined his father in the business.
We offer traditional funeral services, partial funeral services, memorial services, and cremation services for all types of faiths. Our staff is well trained for any service the family requests, including military funerals, and private viewing. We carry a large selection of caskets and have a vault and cremation display room on site.
Staff members of Moll Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. He attended the parochial school and high school in Mascoutah, and graduated from SIU Mortuary Science Program in Carbondale, IL in 1972.
Picture of the deceased for the newspaper obituary and memorial folders or prayer cards. The picture can be from the photo gallery on your phone or personal computer, which may be emailed to us. If you select a hard copy photo, with other people in the picture, we will scan the photo and crop the deceased.
