The Golden Steer Steakhouse was founded in 1958. In our infancy, we were a small restaurant with a bar and dining room. Over the years, we have expanded by annexing the neighboring shops and in the '70s by adding in a larger bar with an old Victorian ambiance reminiscent of the Gold Rush era of San Francisco.

I visit LV first time for CES. This steakhouses very closer the hotel I living and have highest rank in Google maps. When I finish CES work, I just want to find a delicious restaurant and release the stress. So that, I working to Golden Steer. The lobster is scrumptious！ The cappuccino drink is also smooth. There atmosphere feeling like a drink bar. Totally, it very good for Saturday night.

The absolute best steak that I've ever had in my life. And I've been to Flemings, Mastro's, Gordon Ramsey's Hell's Kitchen, Houston's, etc. We had the 35oz Tomahawk steak shared amongst 3 people w/asparagus and Lyonnaise potatoes. The steak was a special addition to the menu. Our Caesar salad was prepared tableside as the dressing was hand-made. As well was our desert "Cherries Jubilee" The steak was amazing on its own with no added sauces, but the accompanying rock salt took it over the top.

Such a great place with so much history. It's actually the oldest steak house in Vegas. There is so much memorabilia on the walls to look at as well. The food and service were both outstanding. My only complaint is that they seated 4 of us in to a table that was probably for 2. The server had a hard time even placing all of our food on the table because of it.
