Excellent Japanese food, off-strip in Las Vegas!

If you need an Asian fix in Vegas, this is your place. The menu is extensive, with Japanese staples ranging from sushi to okonomiyaki.

The wait staff is superb and the sushi is amazing. Very creative selection of rolls, and the nigiri were outstanding.

What a treat to have lunch at Osaka Japanese Bristo. Sushi Chief Kenji was terrific. The food was outstanding. We ordered a bento box, tempura (vegetables and shrimp), shrimp, 777 and yum yum sushi rolls all delicious! Topping off our lunch were some of the best Shigoku oysters I've ever had washed down with Kerin beer. Enjoy Osaka!

A must visit anytime you are in Las Vegas, they have the freshest fish, great service and very affordable prices! We went on a Tuesday during lunch time, they had a lunch special so we were able to try a little of everything. I recommend going during lunch time if you have the chance. Uni was delicious! One of the best I've had EVER. service was great very friendly staff. The have a really cool sitting option, in a booth sitting on pillows with no shoes on. And the have traditional sitting as well. I will be returning every time I'm in Las Vegas!

I wasn't impressed with the Spicy Tuna Roll. Over priced for its size ( 8 tiny pieces for $10 ) and very mushy. I was surprised that they put roe inside the roll. Not what I'm used to when ordering this, but every chef is entitled to their creativity.

This place has wonderful food and most of the servers are very sweet. Been here several times and always enjoy our meal. But if I could give one star to the interiors I would. The place is admittedly really dingy, dirty, and old looking and needs some TLC. Also there is no way this place is ADA accessible and I'd question it's fire safety and exiting... But I'll leave that to the experts. If they got a remodel, this place would be a top spot in Vegas.

Great Japanese food, complete with tatami rooms and traditional enclosed seating options. Good sake selection, and happy hour is great for getting a deal on great apps and snacks!

I haven't tried the teppanyaki grills, so I can't really comment there, but the traditional menu is great, and they're always on top of things whenever I go.

The absolute worst service by far. Was excited to try out the restaurant considering it had good reviews and I was absolutely mortified by the woman who took my order. She was rude and too busy to answer any questions I had as I was new to the restaurant. I ordered soup, which they gave me the most minimal amount they possibly could, I also ordered extra tofu which they also forgot. As I waited for my food, I watched as she scolded at least five employees and when someone offered me water she insisted they charge me.

I would recommend going somewhere else if you'd like service where they

This place is amazing! Everything is so fresh and made to order!

Pro tip go during happy hour which is from 10 pm to 2 am. Tons of menu items at half priced.

The mussels are the best that we've ever had. The rolls are big and flavorful. All the appetizers are perfect as well. The sake flight is worth it! It's reasonably priced with big samples of 4 sakes.

We will for sure be back!

0-⭐ Absolutely The Worst Service From Server And Host. After Spending Well Over 500 Dollars You Would Expect Top Notch Service. Food And The Chef Was With No Doubt Great Indeed. As a 12 Year Combat Marine Veteran And Currently Law Enforcement Officer Was Hoping To See Some Sense In This Hawaiian Male As Is He Stated To Be More Adequate More Consistent And Persistent In Been Aware of Our Food Order. Not Only We Had a Quite a Long Wait, My Sukiyaki Was Brought At The End After All My Family Members Had Already Done Eating At The Same Time The Chef Had Already Left Our Kitchen. Second This Man Not

I ate here today for the first time. I was unsure what I came into at first. The place is kind of dark but now I know that is part of its charm. They had different rooms with booths in them. The seats are very traditional Japanese sitting.

The food? Amazing. They have a massive menu with all kinds of dishes. They have bento, rice bowls, oden, ramen, skewers, sakuyaki, shabu shabu, sushi, etc. I think they almost have everything.

The makunochi bento I had was delicious. I had chicken teriyaki and it was moist and tasty. The sauce is not salty at all. The tamago it came along with was fluffy

Really cool experience. My first time going to a sushi restaurant that didn't offer all you can eat but it was all delicious. Desserts were phenomenal too. The closest thing to all you can eat is ordering a special boat.

This restaurant has the absolute best Teppanyaki Chef that I have ever seen. He is a master with knife and fire tricks. Tricks that you have not seen at any other Teppanyaki Grill anywhere in the country.

The restaurant has been around since the late 60's and looks like an absolute hole in the wall which in many ways it is!

Only a couple Teppanyaki Grills that we saw, but it was a wonderful meal. We started with a round of sushi including sashimi and rolls. Fresh and delicious.

Main course was a combination of steak, shrimp and/or scallops. Got all the fixings to go along with it - fried

Best Japanese I have ever had in Las Vegas. Reasonable prices. Had a boat and everything was delicious. Surprised how moist the chicken was. Steak cooked perfectly. Sashimi very fresh. Absolutely delicious. Bread pudding is my usual favorite however the Banana Foster Cheesecake was to die for. Traditional and western seating. Also hibachi tables available. Make a reservation as you won't want to miss out on the best Japanese meal ever. Would have given 5 stars based solely on food but we felt rushed having food come out of the kitchen too fast.

Best sushi we've ever had. The edemame was spicy and seasoned to perfection. There was a bit of an issue with the table which is the only reason I didn't give five stars, but the food was exceptional. Come thru

So my wife and I were in Chinatown and didn't know what we wanted to eat. She finally said Japanese. So I looked through yelp and picked a place but when we got there it was an all you can eat and that is not quality food. So I picked Osaka from the Yelp review stating it was family run. I laughed when we found out it was a DDD place and we always try Guys recommendations.

When we arrived it looked like a hole in the wall but inside was huge. You first see the sushi bar with a chef making sushi but beyond that you had dining area where you would sit kneeling it was pretty amazing. Osaka

Love the food! Sashimi's are top notch and more! Bring your family and have the whole enclosed cubicle dining! Although restroom is outdated, the food and service will compensate. This can easily be a 5 star if they update the restroom and make it more welcoming.

For starters, I love that they have the option of standard tables and chairs or traditional Japanese dining... We opted for the Japanese dining experience and the shoes came off at the steps.
Dinner was delicious... Appetizers included a California Roll and Shrimp & Veggie Tempura.
The BBQ Shortribs were absolutely perfect. They were extremely tender and the seasoning was so yummy. My son enjoyed Chicken Udon Soup and he was treated with an awesome ice cream sundae for his birthday dessert.
Food and service were terrific... We will be back. I'm just upset I hadn't tried Osaka sooner.

Great service! Went here for my birthday which they give you a nice little ice cream if they know. The sushi was terrific! Very fresh and a lot of food for the price. Couldn't ask for a better spot. The manager was also great about getting us a taxi back to our hotel, very attentive. The oreo dessert was delicious!

I sat in the tatami mats area which was pretty cool. While the front/entrance of the restaurant doesn't look like much, the inside design and ambiance is legit.
I really don't know what more I can say about the food I haven't already done with other reviews of Japanese cuisine. We ordered tempura, crab tempura, broiled mackerel, tonkatsu, teriyaki chicken and etc. We ate every single thing in the pictures and thought everything was delicious. So based on that alone, just order anything and you should be satisfied.
I will say that even though we had quite a bit of fried food items, nothing felt
