We've read the reviews, the complaints and answered quite a few phone calls about locating our restaurant. That's right, OFF of Sahara, even though the address of the restaurant is 953 E. Sahara. See, the ENTIRE shopping complex (Commercial Center) is 953 E. Sahara and each business is given a suite number.

Every time we are in town Komol is our first stop. This time, as soon as we got off the plane we drove to Komol, (45 minutes before closing). We just needed our fix. This place to me has an eternal lifeline. I just know it will be around FOREVER. Hopefully my childrens'(I don't have any) great grandchildren get to experience this restaurant. I always get the Tofu Tom Yum with a 10 spice and the Crunchy Orange Tofu with the Fried Veggie Spring Rolls. Always, always so good. Never disappoints. That Tom Yum broth will literally cure you. If I lived here, I can eat the Tom Yum everyday. I am not lying

Price: I think the price is very reasonable dishes averaged out between $10 and 15.
Food: I ordered the veggie combination appetizer platter. I loved the variety and the crispness. it came with an assortment of fried veggies including Chinese broccoli, sweet potato, eggplant and tofu. The sweet potato was undercooked though. I also ordered fried rice with curry which had good flavors. The last dish was tofu with cashew served with rice. This dish was disappointing. I had one cashew that left a bad taste in my mouth and the flavors were too bland.
Service: good service the waiter was attentive

Tofu Red and Tofu Green Curry was great and they put plenty of vegetables in the curry sauce. I would probably rate it closer to five stars but the service was very slow despite there only being 3 tables with customers. I would gladly return no buyers remorse if you have time to sit down and wait on the food

Komol has been in business for as long as I can remember. We moved here in '88 and it was already open. They have by far the best Tom Yum soup in town. The owners and staff aim to please. They are friendly and courteous. Ample parking. Reasonable prices. Who could ask for anything more? Their other Thai food is excellent as well.

Sometimes, good things are found off the beaten path. This restaurant is a great example of this.
The surrounding area seems like a run down shopping mall, a lot of empty parking spaces, with very little to show for it.
Dropped in to this restaurant on a whim, but very glad I did. It was fairly empty for being around 6 PM, but it's more than likely more people are interested in eating on the strip, and the location is very much "off strip".
I started with Mee-krob, which was a fried crispy noodle appetizer. The noodles were lightly fried, and had a nice sweet glaze to them. The bean sprouts

Dangly Soooo Amazzing.
The 5 Chefs that worked their magic again here have outstanding skillsets when it comes to this longtime community Thai anchor restaurant. The customer service here is excellent and well managed from the time you enter til exit. Amazingly tasty food and Chef creativity are the key to Komodo continued success.
komol is located centrally inside the newly polished parking area of this 50 year Old Historic Commercial at 953 East Sahara Ave.
Thanks to Ron McMenamy & family as well as the business owners tenaciously remaining here thru this trying last year we still have some

I have been. Coming to Komol's for many years. I used to go every time I was in Vegas. The last few years Vegas has not been on my travel destination map.
On a recent soccer tournament trip it was late and we needed some dinner. We wanted something besides burgers and I had a sudden inspiration. A few minutes later we were seated and ordering even though they were closing in 20 minutes.
The staff was so nice and made certain we had everything we needed. The food was delivered in record time exactly as ordered. And just as I remembered, the beef sauté with peanut sauce was so tender

Thanks to a friends recommendation, when my girlfriend asked what I wanted for dinner and I was craving some Thai food, Komol Restaurant was the first place that comes to mind. Komol Restaurant isn't located in an area of Las Vegas that is made for tourists and that means not waiting an hour for a table for some of the best food you are going to eat. We stopped in here for dinner on a Sunday night and the place had plenty of spaced out seating for us. The server we had was friendly and quick to take orders as well. The menu here is a mixture of all the Thai favourites you would expect along

One of the best Thai restaurant in the US! I have tried so many Thai restaurants and definitely this will be in top 3. The service was really good. They served the food pretty quickly. We tried egg rolls and wonton. Both were tasty. For main course, we had duck chilli mint and fried cat fish with red curry sauce. The dishes were fantastic! Overall , we had wonderful experience. We will definitely go there again.

A sadly disappointing experience.
This was my third try at Komol, and it is was the least impressive meal yet.
I ordered Vegetable Panang Curry. It arrived barely above room temperature and with *no* spice to speak of. Not even a hint of the pungent, aromatic peppers that give Thai food it's famous heat. The sauce was more like gravy than curry.
The tofu was not freshly fried, and was both hard and oily. It felt as if it had been in the refrigerator for too long, and added at the last minute. The vegetables were plentiful, but basic. The whole thing was cold long before I could finish

How come I didn't know about this place? I've lived in Las Vegas for ages. People rave about Lotus of Siam and although Lotus is nice, I liked the food here better. I had the green curry tofu and it was truly fantastic.
It's in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood but it's so good that I would go again.
This is a very casual hole-in-the wall that's been in Las Vegas since 1986.

Is this the best Thai food in Vegas? I don't know. Is it damn good Thai food with an entire vegan/vegetarian menu? Heck, yeah!
I take people here pretty much every time I go to Vegas. Cause it's that good. On my last trip, it was so good, we went twice! (I was the only one ordering vegan food, but the non-veg food got raving reviews as well.)
The entryway is covered in #1 Thai in Vegas awards from numerous organizations, so don't just take my word for it.
And an update from my last review, they now ask for mild, medium, or hot instead of a number scale. Medium or mild with extra

This is my absolute favorite restaurant to visit each time I am in town. My husband and I literally had a meal here each of the 4 days we were in town once. No lie. Okay, the place doesn't look that special and it is in a bit of a creepy area off the strip, but the food... THE FOOD is the bomb! Now, as you may know, I am vegan. There are as many vegan dishes as there are regular dishes. My favorites are #1 Herbal Salad. It's the best thing I've ever had. No joke. The pineapple rice is delicious. It's the only place that I've tried this dish that does not use curry. They use a tomato base. Good
