Delavan Animal Clinic is seeking a full- or part-time Associate Veterinarian to serve the needs of our community's canine and feline patients. Known for its beautiful lakes, parks, and unique history, with the Downtown featuring a historic brick street, Delavan is also a welcoming place to call home!
Our facilities are equipped with modern anesthesia medication, monitoring equipment, and surgical equipment. Each patient receives an individualized plan, including pain control. Additionally, each of our patients is monitored by a trained staff member at all times while under anesthesia. Finally, they are wrapped in warming blankets throughout surgery and recovery to make their stay with us as comfortable as possible.
We have many pieces of equipment designed to provide the care you deserve for your furry family member. Because your cat or dog can not talk, we have to rely on tests to give us some of the information we need. However, a test is never a replacement for a good physical exam, so we always combine your pet diagnosis with physical exams (and a complete medical history).

Not a fan.. I recently brought my dog their and wasn't feeling any compassion from Dr. Hartwig.I got the feeling he is all business. I didn't appreciate my first visit or last visit no alternatives suggested or ideas. Not a big deal but they did say they would call me with results and I had to call them and still no ideas or suggestions or remedies nothing . It was a uncomfortable feeling but I understand it's just the way the message was conveyed to me. A little unsettling left me a little bitter.

Was great when I started going to them a few years ago for my husky Saleen. Towards her end, (last year @ the age of 2 weeks before 10) after a tumor had ruptured. They couldn't be bothered to see her. The other delavan vet was the one who eventually put her to sleep, who got me in immediately. Long story short. I filled out a application to a husky rescue only to have this vet say they have no record of me (Good thing I kept them). Glad our visits meant so much to you. Had suspicions after our youngest cat had to stay an extra day after a routine vac visit. Wonderful personality with most staff

One of the most compassionate group of professionals I've had the pleasure of doing business with. We've since moved out of Delavan, but we still go to the Delavan Animal Clinic. They will not upsell you and they will be honest on if procedures are viable and worth pursuing. I highly recommend them.
