At Janesville Veterinary Clinic, we recognize the special role your pet plays as an important part of your family. We also know that family members deserve nothing but the very best - especially when it comes to their health care. We consider our patients part of our extended family at Janesville Veterinary Care, and our doctors and staff regard your pet with the same care and compassion they do their own.
From the moment you walk through the doors of our clinic, you'll notice that we're different from other vets in the Janesville and Rock County area. From warm greetings in the reception area to extra time spent answering. Many otherwise responsible pet parents make the mistake of thinking vet visits are only necessary when sickness or injury strikes.

Services
At The Janesville Veterinary Clinic, you and your pet are considered an extension of our family. Together, we will work hard to help your loved one enjoy as many happy, healthy years by your side as possible. From that first well-pet check up to specialized senior care, and every milestone along the way - we're prepared to be there with you through it all.
Your family members deserve nothing but the very best, which is why we're so honored to partner with you in keeping your furry, feathered or scaly friend happy and healthy for as many years as possible. We strongly emphasize wellness care for all of our patients, because disease prevention and early detection can add years to a pet's life.
The Janesville Veterinary Clinic has embraced the fear free movement! Our staff members have received extensive training, and many of our care team members are fear-free certified. The fear-free movement, developed by the esteemed Dr. Marty Becker, is a set of specific techniques that, when implemented by pet owners and veterinarian professionals, greatly reduce anxiety associated with veterinary visits.
The Janesville Veterinary Clinic is taking a stand against declawing. Moving forward, declawing and tendonectomies will be reserved only for those rare cases in which a cat has a medical problem that would warrant such surgery, such as the need to remove cancerous nail bed tumors. Too often, people think that declawing is a simple surgery to remove a cat's nails-the equivalent of having your fingernails trimmed.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
Been through 3 other vet clinics. This was the best vet appointment I ever had. I have an incredibly nervous/fearful shih tzu and he had all his shots today with zero issues. He was surprisingly good friends with the vet and assistant by the end of the appt. Great job Sarah and Dr Kaitlyn. Thank you.

We are new to Janesville. I made an appointment to take my cat in to have his nails cut because he refuses to allow us to do it and needs a mild sedative. I choose this office based on reviews. I wasn’t told any information regarding wearing masks when I made the appointment. Our appointment was scheduled for 7:45 AM. We arrived on time and the door was locked. The lights were off and there was a sign in the door that advised to call upon arrival. A lady came and opened the door. She advised us that only one person was allowed in and that person must wear a mask. My husband went to the car and

😡 Use to love this vet...then they became obsessed with drugging dogs. So I started doing shots myself, now getting bs over heartguard because my dog "missed" a visit. Of course he missed it, did the shots myself because I'm not drugging my dog to appease some vet who doesn't know how to approach or deal with dogs.

I have taken all of my Animals here for years. The entire staff here are world class professionals. Run to this place with your animals. You will not be sorry. Pictured is our rescue Jax. He’s Blind with Brain Damage. Another dog bit him and his Doctors got him in right away and fixed him all up. I love this place

Dr. Long and staff helped me through the absolute most difficult time of my life when losing my beloved dog. I've been going here for 10 years and would drive however long I'd have to just to bring my babies here. I trust, respect and appreciate the kindness, professionalism and empathy that Dr. Long, all veterinarians on staff, vet technicians, assistants & receptionists have. Can't say enough about both clinic's. Everyone makes you feel that your pet and yourself are always in the best hands.

Both Locations are awesome. Staff is very friendly and is very good to my dogs.
I couldn't ask for a better Dr I have for my dogs in Dr. Mike. He is the be est and you can tell he truly cares about the animals he takes care of. He is very easy to talk to and explains everything to me. I never leave the office having any questions he is sure to answer them all. Good job to the East side and West side clinics.

We have taken two dogs (Luke and Bella) and two cats (Mogget and Tetra) to Janesville Veterinary Clinic. Every time, they have received excellent care. The entire staff is amazing, and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. Even our more nervous pets are put at ease (or at least bribed into cooperating with lots of treats). Recently,… our cat Mogget died unexpectedly, and we were overwhelmed by the kindness and compassion that was shown to us in our grieving. Dr. Jennifer has been especially good with our pets (although all of the vets and techs that we’ve seen are great

We had to take our baby Zack to the vet yesterday, unfortunately it was to say goodbye. He has been sick for awhile, and he fought very hard, but his heart was just to tired. This was the 1st time we came to… Janesville Veterinary Clinic West. They treated us like we have been going there for all of Zacks life. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking care of us. Something I will always remember.

Dr. Nicole and staff took such good care of us, since finding out the our Jordy had lymphoma and in less than 3 weeks, we had to say goodbye. My husband had a stroke 4 years ago and Jordy was so great with him. I was so worried about Gary and losing Jordy. I hadn't realized how much he had been my rock since then. He was my buddy, my co-pilot,… lawn mower partner and so much more. Jordy always loved going there. He would do his tricks and loved his peanut butter treats. He would shake, pray and bang you are dead! Such a ham and they took a video one time. You guys rock and I don't know how
