Our goal is to help you feel comfortable with every oral health decision you make by developing a deep sense of TRUST in our practice - and, by understanding the difference between dental "musts, shoulds, and coulds." A LIFETIME of sound oral health begins with early preventative care and education.
As a general rule, we require 50% payment for major procedures at the time we begin treatment and the remainder when we complete the process. Whether or not there is a dental insurance benefit involved or has been received, our patients are entirely responsible for making payments directly to us within 90 days of the treatment date.
We truly enjoy our work and so does the rest of our dental care team. Even though we work in an informal, friendly atmosphere, we're passionate about our work and are dedicated to our patients. As a person who really really does not like to go to the dentist I thought I should write this review for all the others who feel the same.My worst fear happened this week end I broke a tooth,so I had to see a dentist and it had been years,I had seen doctor Leamey before and when I went back on Tuesday it was like returning back to a family,everyone remembered me and they were all the same associates all very friendly and very efficient and then there is doctor Leamey he is just the best I have never felt so comfortable that he would do a great job and he has never caused a twinge of pain.I highly

I have been going here for many years now. Dr. Leamey has always been very gentle and I always feel comfortable. The staff is friendly and professional and they have all been there forever. They all make sure you understand what is being done and why. Today he used his new 3D microscope which was really cool. My family and I are big fans!

Dr. Leamey took x-rays of my mouth as part of a routine dental checkup and he told me that I had cavities in all 4 of my wisdom teeth. This seemed suspicious to me as I have only ever had 2 cavities before in my life, I have gone to my dentist at home for regular checkups and it was strange that he said that I had a cavity in each of my wisdom teeth. His exam was fast and he didn't talk to me except for to scold, "Why do you still have your wisdom teeth-they don't do anyone any good." This comment was said before he told me that I had cavities in each of my wisdom teeth. I

Dr . Leamy is a talented and ethical dentist. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist. When I called to book my first appointment Irene scheduled me promptly the same week. The dental hygienist was delicate and thorough. Dr. Leamy did a beautiful job replacing an old filling. Ariana was very helpful showing me how to use my whitening trays. Thank you ladies and Dr. Leamy for keeping my smile shining!

Dentists (and their hygienists) are a very personal choice. When I moved to Monterey I was lamenting finding a new dentist. Dr. L is walking distance from my house so I figured I'd give him a try first. The initial impression was good, their rooms are high-tech and comfortable. They accept Anthem insurance, so are affordable. I didn't experience any pain or discomfort during several catch up restorative procedures. All in all a good experience and my search for the best Monterey dentist is over.

Quick story to sum up Dr. Leamy's dedication and professionalism. On a Saturday night, one of my teeth became loose. I took a chance and texted Dr. Leamy about it. Not only did he respond immediately, but he met me at his office the next day, Sunday, and proceeded to fix everything perfectly, all while we enjoyed Sunday football games on his TV's. I've always been impressed with his professionalism, honesty, and work. His DENTAL staff and team are equally impressive and relatable. The receptionist can be difficult, but The Dr. Leamy experience is well worth it.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Leamey. He is one of the most honest, ethical and talented person and dentists I have crossed paths with. Like most of us, I know very little about dentistry. I trust Dr. Leamey with his recommendations for treatment. I never feel that he is trying to sell me something I do not need. His work is five star. He is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. Feel comfortable knowing that if something doesn't feel right Dr. Leamey will do what ever is necessary to fix the problem. I highly reccomend Dr. Leamey.

At the age of 8 I broke my front tooth in half while falling. Over the years I have seen Drs. who have bonded it but most have wanted to replace the bonding with an implant ($). The tooth is perfectly healthy and does not require that extreme work. Dr Leamey was one of the few who wanted to take the conservative approach to preserving the tooth. Bonding has to be replaced periodically but is is much easier than an implant. It looks better, is much less painful, and time consuming, not to mention less costly. He, in my opinion is honest, conservative, and respects the patients wishes while putting

Dr. Leamey actually came in on a Saturday, during Labor day weekend to see me. I was on vacation in the area and one of my crowns came off. While on the phone with him, I asked that he check it out and glue it back on with temp cement until I could see my regular dentist.
Shortly after we met, he decided that he didn't wish to glue it back on and that the proper way to deal with it was to redo the entire crown/post... At this point I was bummed but understood his unwillingness to get into this on the weekend.
Then he proceeded to make a plastic tray, like a bleaching tray, for me to hold

Dr. Leamey referred me out for a root canal before he applied a crown. The tooth was prepped by Dr. Leamey. As soon as the second doctor took one look at my tooth he chuckled. I asked him what was so funny. His reply sticks with me today. "Classic Leamey. This is as clean and prepped as a tooth can be. Man, he's a perfectionist."
I prefer my dentist to be perfectionists. Glad I found the right one.

I needed a dental cleaning and was referred to Dr Leamy by a friend when I moved to the area. I had been to another dentist 1 year earlier with no problems. Hdr. Leamy looked at my teeth and said I needed "root scaling" and that it would take several visits. Obviously it was going to be expensive. I got a second opinion from an older more experienced dentist who said all I needed was a cleaning and "root scaling" was very aggressive. I haven't had any problems since the cleaning. Beware.

Dr. Leamey is the best dentist in Monterey in my family's opinion. My family has been going to see him for over 11 years. I always fill confident that he will take care of us and he is so great with my children. Dr. Leamey will always ask you about a procedure before he does it, or before he charges you. We look forward to having our teeth checked and cleaned twice yearly. My husband use to have dental phobia before he met Dr. Leamey and now my husband does not complain.

Went here to get a checkup done. The staff here is very friendly and attentive. The office looks like it is in an old colonial home which is very cute. The entire place is very clean and has many new features.
The entire process was painless and quick which is always a plus. They have flat screens on the walls so you can kick back which getting your teeth picked at. Dr. Leamey was polite and quick. They also give you a goodie bag with a toothbrush and floss.
Overall my experience here was a good one and would recommend Dr. Leamey to all my friends.
